The rain didn’t stop us but one particular incident did shut the Cenote stage down, here’s what actually happened …

Sunday at Lost Lake:

Around 3pm @haylo_dj was spinning some pretty incredible tunes, everyone’s having a great time … then
One single pair of undies ruined it.

Some absolute genius decided to flush their pants down the toilet, sending them on an epic journey through the sewage system until they blocked the pipes and shut down the Cenote stage due to a health and safety risk .

Imagine being those pants….
Started life on someone’s arse.
Ended life shutting down a festival stage.

What a career. 😂

Please remember for next year:
Pants → Do not belong in the toilet you are all over 21, basic toilet training happens when you are 3.

Let’s keep the underwear out of the plumbing next year 🙄

Disclaimer: none of the people in these photos are suspects .

To the culprit, you owe our maintenance man @trigger.wayne and @haylo_dj a pint 🤣

Hey guys

Right, a bit of news from us… After lots of going back and forth we can’t keep up the standard of production and artists and keep Lost Lake so small, it’s a huge risk and it creates many a sleepless night every year for us. So we’ve decided we have to grow Lost Lake a little.

Don’t panic, we’re still keeping Lost Lake small. We’ll never go over 1,000 people because we like it that way.

You can actually find your mates, the DJs can see who they’re playing to, and by Sunday it feels like one big little family. That’s the best bit!

We’ve found a beautiful new home for 2027 and we’re SO excited about it, we can’t wait to show you. Venue reveal coming in the next post 👀

Putting Lost Lake together takes a lot behind the scenes, and the earlier we know how many of you are coming, the more we can get stuck into booking the artists, production and all the good stuff that makes the weekend what it is.

As most of you know we are fully independent with zero sponsors and run by local DJs and promoters with one thing in common - we all know how to throw a great party!

So if you already know you’re coming, register now for first access to early bird tickets.

It’s free and takes about a minute.

lostlakefestival.co.uk
Link in bio.

Then on 1st November, 100 Early Bird weekend tickets will go on sale for 48 hours at £120 .

That’s the lowest price they’ll be, and there are only 100 of them.

17 & 18 July 2027
North Devon
Over 21s
Under 1,000 people.

New home. Same Lost Lake.

See you there 🖤

With less than 1 week to go - let’s talk about how talented this lot are.

Local DJs matter more than people sometimes realise.

They’re often the first names on a festival lineup, the ones playing before the headliners arrive, but that doesn’t make those sets any less important. In fact, they’re often where some of the best moments happen.

One thing we see at festivals all the time is people sitting back at their tents, having a drink and waiting until the bigger names come on.

This year, we’re asking you not to do that.

Come down early. Wander between the stages. Turn up for the local DJs, because we genuinely don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

We have some seriously talented House and DnB DJs from Devon and across the South West playing at Lost Lake. These are people who live and breathe the local scene, they have supported some of the biggest names in the industry for a reason. They play the smaller parties, the clubs, the bars and the nights that keep underground music alive all year round.

Some of the best sets we’ve ever heard have been the ones we weren’t planning to stay for.

So please, give these DJs the dancefloor they deserve.

Get out of the tents, come down early,
You might just find your favourite set of the whole weekend. 🤎

SUNDAY 30TH AUGUST

JODY WISTERNOFF

HEADLINER • LOST LAKE • NORTH DEVON

Jody Wisternoff’s history in electronic music is pretty incredible.

From making records as a teenager to becoming one half of the legendary Way Out West with Nick Warren, he’s spent decades at the forefront of the scene.

And then there’s @anjunadeep

Jody hasn’t simply released music on the label, he’s helped shape its sound and identity.

Alongside James Grant, his long running work on the Anjunadeep compilation series has introduced millions of listeners to that unmistakable deep, melodic sound and helped turn the label into one of the most respected names in electronic music.

He’s played Anjunadeep shows and major stages all over the world, so the fact he said yes to coming down to North Devon to headline our tiny independent festival, in front of just a few hundred people, genuinely means a lot to us.🙏

Somehow , after a career like this, he is still incredibly humble, warm and down to earth. The way it should always be.

A rare chance to see one of electronic music’s most respected artists in a setting this intimate.

Catch @jodywisternoff headlining the Cenote Stage at Lost Lake on Sunday 30th August. 🤍

There’s something truly special about a dance floor that brings generations together. ✨

What a privilege it was to provide the soundtrack to another beautiful wedding at Rockbeare Manor last night. From those elegant first moments through to a packed dance floor at the end of the evening, every song was chosen to create memories that will last a lifetime.

At Decadance Wedding Music Co., we believe your wedding entertainment should be as unique as your love story. We offer far more than just a DJ; we create unforgettable experiences with bespoke music planning, premium sound and lighting, professional hosting and microphone work, stunning lighting effects, mirror balls, and the option to add live musicians including saxophonists, percussionists, singers and dancers for that extra touch of magic.

Thank you to our wonderful couple for trusting us to be part of such an incredible celebration. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness together. 🤍🪩

Creating unforgettable celebrations, one dance floor at a time.
