Previous collaborators and long-term friends Hasvat Informant and Mick Gristle invite their local residential regulatory body ‘Monoxide Leak Variety World’ to craft ‘Plasma Fiends’ - a swampy, supernatural idm inspired electro piece.

Delicate and fluttering percussion sets against an open and airy atonal backdrop, framing heavily processed vocals from deep in the uncanny valley - a blend of the familiar and the otherworldly.

The single announcement precedes a full LP self-release by Monoxide Leak Variety World & Mick Gristle, with Hasvat Informant credited for mixing and mastering. The LP is set for release late 2024.

I’ve been 🅱️usting at the seams to share this one - going the mileage all night long at @subclubmelbourne on June 15 thanks to @charadesevents

Although i’d been producing for a while, my first dj gig was at subbers in 2021. This was after much encouragement by @adrianjbell who booked me for a locals only @bunkermusicmelb party coming out of covid. I’ve been really fortunate to play some amazing events since, but this one feels extra special, a lovely full circle moment, and a homage to the local scene that got me here :’)

▫️ Subclub is fully wheelchair accessible (via elevator) ▫️ There will be no strobes on the night
▫️ Please DM me if any access enquies!

We’ll be doing stickers on phone cameras,
and there won’t be any photographers or videographers
