Usually when I sit down to write the annual “so we did a thing” post about CAPSULE, the part book, part zine, part programme chimera a bunch of brainbusters and I put together for @iiipoints each year, there’s some sort of record I want to set straight, a behind-the-scenes narrative that makes the whole thing make sense in context.

I don’t really have one for 2026, though: the work speaks for itself.

Among other wins, we started earlier than usual; we somehow managed to squeeze in more features alongside the largest number of (non-AI-written!!) artist bios we’ve ever done (219!!) in fewer pages than last year; and for the first time, we had international acts like @jacquesgreene, @heidilawden, and more contribute to the book.

I can confidently say it’s the best one we’ve done yet.

In no particular order, s/o @davidsinopoli for always putting this project on and lending his deep thoughts to the book this year; s/o @cate.af for being CAPSULE’s guardian angel and always making sure our little pride and joy has what it needs to thrive; s/o @k80dorney for stepping up in a big way as executive producer, baybee; s/o @katsayskill for her constant mentorship and encouragement + inspiring me to wrack my brain for more Tiga-related puns and coming up with the title “Overstanding Underworld,” effectively forcing me to write something on one of my favorite artists.

As for the newest additions to the team, s/o @alwayslunes for channeling the myriad ways he puts the Miami music scene on his back into this book and overstanding the assignment; and a massive, massive s/o to @spiralketty for putting her whole ass into designing this book, coming aboard despite my half-joking warnings, and diving into the deep end with us only to rise back up with layouts as creative as they are eye-catching.

The first 50 copies will be given out tomorrow, when we’ll be celebrating the continuum of Florida rave reads with our dual release party for C003IIIP26 and TRiP MAGAZEEN with OGs @peterwohelski, @djthreeofc and @grumptronix at @dale_zine. Plus, the first two volumes of CAPSULE are now available to read online for the first time at iiipoints.miami.

Real ravers stay reading, always. 🤘
