Life update Part 2 of 3:

I had my recital and was able to perform with two wonderful friends @bargeandnoble and Noah Mallet and was honored to have such wonderful composers there ( @bargeandnoble @alexislamb26 and @ayakopedersontakeda )in attendance as well as two of the three writing pieces that were premiered during the recital. This recital also had my very first composition to ever be performed, which was very exciting. Thank you to @alirnakorieva for being there and taking such wonderful photos throughout the entire performance.

After that, I began preparing for what was on the horizon and helping my students prepare for senior recitals, percussion ensemble concerts, barrier juries, and preparing for @nashvillemarimbasessions which was such a rewarding experience through and through❤️

The only thing I asked for when entering 2025 is to not have a repeat of 2024. I’m grateful that history didn’t repeat itself and I am thankful for the family, friends, and memories I now carry with me from this year and will hold with me for a long time.

Now’s time for a new year, new music, and a lot of great things to come😁
