What if the cookout, homecoming, and a game night were wrapped up in one event?

Our annual Black College Game Night in Hyde Park found HBCU and PWI students, grads, and alumni in their colors, playing in a Spades tournament, eating Caribbean flavors, and enjoying curated beverages by a Black-owned wine club. 🎓♠️🍷

We do this kind of experience every year.

Follow @LovePeaceAndSpades so you don’t miss the next gathering.

Up next: We will be part of The Founders’ Lab (Oct. 17) with @TheReadyLab, and then hosting our monthly Spades Academy at @OurHouse.48th to offer lessons to anyone who wants to learn the game from us.

IT IS TIME TO TAKE FLIGHT ✈️ @ifigowilltheymissme is in theaters nationwide and these three alumni have been on the ground not only assisting with special screenings but spreading the word about this incredible film. Jeremiah (@bakerjayyy), Daria (@dariasfilms) and Isaiah (@isaiahnclay) were all apart of @hbcuinla as students just dreaming big as interns working at some of the biggest entertainment studios ever. Now, they are soaring higher than ever and we couldn’t be prouder. Be sure to go to one of the links in their bio to get a ticket for #IfIGoWillTheyMissMe at a theater near you🌊🔱 @richspiritfilms @staymacro

I know the younger, high-school version of me would be so proud. 🥹💕💛

It’s always a full-circle moment for me when I return to Clark Atlanta University. Not because I’m an alum, but because that girl once dreamed of graduating high school, moving to Atlanta, and attending CAU.

Life took me down a different path, but years later, I somehow found myself at the very school I once dreamed of attending not as a student, but standing in front of the next generation, speaking about the entertainment industry and sharing my journey.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to represent @aegpresents for the 3rd year at the Entertainment Industry Panel with @hbcuinla . I truly love connecting with the students, hearing their dreams, sharing my experiences, and talking about the incredible opportunities available through our partnership with the ECIOP Internship Program, @aegworldwide internship program, and the many career paths within AEG.

And this year was even more special with my colleague, @april_b_lovejoy joining me all the way from LA! ✨

Sometimes life doesn’t take you where you thought you were going it takes you exactly where you’re meant to be.

Full circle. 🥹✨
