And that’s a wrap! My baby is home for the summer ☺️ Hayden’s Freshman year was a success and went by so fast! He loves Westerville, the Otterbein campus, made great friends-(especially with his football brothers), his new Football coaching staff is fantastic, and he’s looking forward to his Sophomore year and rooming with these great guys 🏈👏👏 Big brother Nick helped move him home today. This Momma took in every moment today with my boys (albeit adventurous)🥰

Watched Hayden’s last Varsity game of the season as a Freshman at Otterbein University on my laptop today. They played John Carroll U in University Heights. He’s been doing the kickoffs the past several weeks. They unfortunately had a mostly losing season, but so proud of Hayden’s passion and commitment to kicking & doing his thing. #43 has certainly earned the coaches’ and team’s respect 🏈

Fall fun photo dump! Hayden came home; celebrated his bday with family; Raptors won vs Turpin 62-20; Bengals brought home a win; Steve & I went to ‘BLINK’ downtown; we took in the beautiful Fall foliage and enjoyed the nice weather! 🍂🍁🌞

Happy 19th birthday to my Hayden!! It’s hard to believe that you’re already in college…thriving and still kicking that football so well 🏈👏👏 I am so very proud of you son- stay focused and determined!! You have a fantastic future ahead of you!🎂🎉💕

Momma brag post, (slightly)
This kid of mine played a great game today!! Otterbein vs Marietta home game.
3 PAT’s, 2 great kick-offs (one reached the end zone and other at 1 yard line) as well as two tackles 🙌🏈. 21-14 final (ObU). I haven’t seen him in a month, so we really enjoyed catching-up over dinner. I’m so happy that he’s living his best college life ♥️🤍 #otterbeincardinals

Milestone day! Moved Hayden into his dorm at Otterbein University in beautiful Westerville (Columbus) today! Steve and I are officially “empty nesters”🥲 So excited for H as he begins this chapter in life and proud that he’s pursuing his football kicking career, but already missing my boy! He has a great roommate, coaches, new friends, and many fun events keeping him busy until classes begin. A two-hour distance isn’t bad and there’s always FaceTime 😉 Thinking of my many friends who are sending their kiddos off to college as well 🥰

Our sweet Cami girl crossed the rainbow bridge last night at age 14. She’d been declining rapidly over the past couple of weeks and is no longer suffering. She truly was the best dog and a blessing to have in our lives showing us unconditional love and providing comfort. She always wanted to be near to us and will be terribly missed. She has joined her littermate sister, Lucy, in doggy heaven. RIP Cam Cam 🥲🌈
