POS. 😡 I am so tired of reading about people in positions of power that are suppose to help protect us/our children.....they are the ones causing the trauma and damage.

I reach out to people like this. I can imagine where my emails/letters go and why it is hard to get through the communities.

Please STAND UP for your children and your community.
Please get The Me and Me Resource Book into your communities TODAY.

🥀"If you play games with monsters, you have to accept the consequences."🥀

🦴Finding a new balance has been pretty difficult. Part of me wants to just quit reading altogether but obviously that would make me extremely unhappy. So I just have to ride whatever this stage is out and hope for the best. Here is my small yet still steady weekly wrap-up.

📖🔎 I love turning a book into an experience.

For our next All Booked book club read, Chasing the Boogeyman by Richard Chizmar, I wanted to create something that went beyond simply reading the book and meeting to discuss it.

So I put together an entire reading experience for our members, including a site map of locations connected to the story, a detective-style case file, reading activities, and a few other fun surprises to use along the way.

That’s really what All Booked is about. We’re a book club, but I love finding creative ways to bring our monthly reads to life and make each one feel like an experience.

And since Chasing the Boogeyman takes place right here in Harford County, this one is going to be especially fun—and maybe just a little creepy. 👀🔎

Time to start investigating…

A few years back I joined the Carroll County Public Library Board of Trustees with the hope that I would help support and grow a love for our library system. A few months in, I realized that the state is full of wonderful library systems, each supporting their communities in ways that make sense for the folks they serve. The goal I set of visiting at least one branch in every county and in Baltimore City before my term ended is almost complete with only a few stops left.

Libraries are actually what’s up. For me they provide a never ending selection of books that help me learn and grow in both my professional work and volunteer lives as well as providing reading entertainment in my just for fun life.

If you don’t already have card, visit your local library this month during Library Card Signup Month to get one. Adult programming, libraries of things, author talks, books, clubs, classes and so much more! See you at a library! 👋

GUESS WHO? 👻

One of our Coppermine team members is “haunting” the club to prepare you for our upcoming Trunk or Treat event! 🎃

Drop your best guess in the comments. The very first person to correctly guess who is under the sheet wins a free smoothie from the cafe!🥤

(P.S. If you guys can get this video to 100 likes, we’ll also drop the blooper reel. 🎥😂)
