The dream of the 90's is alive in Head Empty. After years of doing whatever, we've finally gotten around to recording these songs properly. Our self-titled album will be available November 20th on all streaming platforms. "Barriers" is available right now on Bandcamp, and will be on streaming within the week! Some of these songs were written almost 10 years ago, and it took a lot of trial and error to get where we are now. thank you for waiting <3 maybe it was worth it? I want to heavily shout out @matthewcastellanoart for spending so much time and effort on this incredible art, and @sasha_longlastname for editing everything together and making a badass CD design. We'll (hopefully) have some early physical releases at Harvest Fest so uhhh see you there? . (all these songs are about boys btw)

Local Spotlight: UPSET STOMACH How did you come up with the name UPSET STOMACH? Kaitlyn was trying to come up with band names one morning and Kristyn was hungover, telling her how bad of an upset stomach she had. So Kaitlyn put it on the list of potential band names and we liked it and ran with it Who are your biggest influences? Maxx is a super big fan of Zilla and takes a lot of inspiration from them. The twins and Sav love Paramore, Sabrina Carpenter, and Billie Eillish. Chappell Roan has a special place in all of our hearts, she made everyone’s Spotify wrapped this year! Honorable mentions: Lady Gaga, Cage the Elephant, Towa Bird, Renee Rapp, Maneskin, Arctic Monkeys, Buckshot Princess, Diet Sweets, Head Empty, Big Cloud Who are some of your favorite locals to work with? We haven’t been around for super long, but we had a lot of fun with LRM, Revenge Bodies, Beef, and xThreatx in 2024. Sour House, Vino’s, Full Moon Records, and Kanis Skatepark have been wonderful hosts! #upsetstomach #arkansas #arkansaslife #arkansasmusic #northwestarkansas #centralarkansas #arkansascreates #visitarkansas #nwarkansas #littlerockarkansas #music #spotifyplaylist #fayettevillearkansas #bentonvillearkansas #conwayarkansas #localspotlight #deadpartymedia

Local Spotlight: Psychotic Clown Pussy How did you come up with the name Psychotic Clown Pussy? We knew we wanted to do something clown themed on account of me already going to shows to do tricks, and originally thought it would be funny to spoof Insane Clown Posse's name, and go by Insane Clown Pussy. Unfortunately, the acronym would have been the exact same and confused some people so we settled on Psychotic Clown Pussy. Who are your biggest influences? Our biggest influences are West Coast riot grrrl bands from the 90's like Bratmobile, Bikini Kill and Sleater Kinney. Some more current bands that have inspired us have been The Homewreckers, Slutever and Priests. Who are some of your favorite locals to work with? Some of our favorite locals to work with are definitely Natalie and Christian from Ultra, Alex Cash from Head Empty and Kennedy Djimpe from Chain Snatcher. #psychoticclownpussy #arkansas #arkansaslife #arkansasmusic #northwestarkansas #centralarkansas #arkansascreates #visitarkansas #nwarkansas #littlerockarkansas #music #spotifyplaylist #fayettevillearkansas #bentonvillearkansas #conwayarkansas #localspotlight #deadpartymedia
