📣📢 We are delighted to also welcome Lauren-Lewis Jones to the North East Dance Project team! We are excited that Lauren will be choreographing a jazz piece on the Project 6 Thursday dancers.

Lauren is a technical and Musical Theatre performer from, and currently based, in Newcastle Upon Tyne. She enjoys sharing her performance knowledge with others and creating more dance opportunities around her.

Lauren finished her training at MT college in Leeds last summer. Over the last year, she has continued dancing with Dance City Newcastle and West End Prep (WEP), recently as a featured dancer in their piece at CYD? Newcastle showcase. She also works closely with the faculty at WEP Performance Company, recently in their production of Rent at the John Marley Centre acting as dance captain. Lauren made her choreographer debut in Tynemouth Priory’s production of Stepping Out which reached numerous sell-out performances.

Lauren’s passion for choreographing came from seeing others thrive from her support. Lauren believes in creating a fun and positive environment, hoping each participant leaves with a smile on their face. Lauren is excited to “bring the vibes” to NEDP and is looking forward to choreographing on the dancers.
