“Don’t demand that things go as you wish, but wish that they happen as they do—and you will go well.” — Epictetus

You don’t always lead from the front. Sometimes you lead from beside. Or below. Or behind. Stoicism isn’t just armor—it’s compassion with discipline. Don’t demand life get easier. Get stronger. Then help carry someone else’s load. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

This is both kinda funny and kinda serious. 🧐

I walked thru a lot of darkness to then be rescued and now walk in the light! Christ saves to the uttermost. He brought me up and outta the pit. There truly was a time in my life I was certain I’d never see past 35, yet here we are at almost 37 praising God and living life to the fullest. Grateful for salvation, grateful for hope & peace, grateful for joy, grateful for each day. But here’s the funny thing, I still don’t have it all figured out per se….good news is tho I don’t have to, HE DOES. I just trust and obey. Trust Him and do good! ✝️

If you relate to this then take heart in this. 🗣️
Stop trying to figure things out on your own. Rather surrender to Jesus, Trust Him and obey!

“Oh, Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey
And ‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus
Just to take Him at His Word
Just to rest upon His promise
Just to know, “Thus saith the Lord”
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh, for grace to trust Him more”

🙏🏻✝️🤟🏻

W1D2 another amazing day!! Body is producing and we are pushing. Top set of deads at 660x2(10lb PR) followed by some drops at 485,528x2. And we followed that through with a bench PR and did it twice at 375x2x2(10lb PR). Capping it off with some slingy "1 board" at 419x5 for last set. Full 🔥🔥🔥🔥. @headstrong_men @ryanstills_powerlifter @bumblebee.thick #fatandtired #pushallthelimits #powerlifting #chasing1800 #allgasnobrakes

I spent most of my life uncomfortable in my own skin.

I learned to make the joke first. Hide behind clothes. Avoid pictures. Pretend I didn’t care what people thought.

But I cared. A lot.

This transformation has given me something far more valuable than a smaller waist or more muscle.

For the first time in my life, I’m starting to feel comfortable being me.

I still see that insecure kid in the mirror sometimes—but I don’t hate him anymore.

I’m proud of him.

He survived long enough to become someone he never thought he could be.

Great bench night with the crew. Hit 420X2 then 430X2 in the widow to a 2 board, both PR’s! Fucked up the first rep on 430, settled it into my back too early before the bar was fully out then basically dumped it to the board but rebounded and make the second rep cleaner. Brick by brick. About 6ish weeks out.

Also Bullet rocks and I’m stoked to see them again in May of next year with Bad omens! LFG!
