🌍 In this moment of shared global grief, we stand united in mourning the heart-wrenching conflict that unfolds between Israel and Palestine.

🌇 As the sun sets on the 5th night of Navratri, we celebrate the fifth embodiment of Goddess Durga, a beacon of compassion, motherly love, and boundless kindness. She rides atop a lion, donned in resplendent yellow, radiating an energy that we can only aspire to embody. May her radiant energy shine upon us.

🙏 In these challenging times, let's embrace the wisdom that flows from this divine moment:
1. Turn off the noise of the TV; seek truth from reliable sources.
2. Focus on what you can control.
3. Embrace daily prayer, meditation, and mindfulness.
4. Tonight, let the glow of a candle fill your heart with hope.
5. Prioritize self-care by nourishing your body, embracing rest, and surrounding yourself with empowering souls.
And, let us actively engage in acts of kindness – donate to a cause, extend a helping hand to those in need. May love, light, and a higher consciousness illuminate our path through this dark period. 🕯️🌟

(P)re. Pare.

The topic we chatted about mostly on yesterday’s podcast recording with @celestpereirayoga 🧘‍♀️

I always recall my old editor saying “be prepared or prepare to fail”

When I started yoga teaching ? I struggled with it.

Should I prepare then freak out in class cos I can’t remember what I planned ?? Or should I Trust that I will know what’s coming next because it WILL just come ?

It’s something I personally have struggled with all my working life not just teaching yoga, but giving talks, workshops and more recently, podcast trainings.

Speaking to Celest about her experiences in the studio and hearing her take on it was a beautiful chat to have.

How much prep is needed in life?

Obviously more than usual lately so we don’t forget our mask 😷 every time we leave home! But it’s an interesting chat about yoga, it’s origins, why the culture around yoga can be a bit nauseating and downright wrong, plus give us a little insight into this lady’s favourite topic, anatomy.

The quality of this recording is not amazing due to the zoom Mic playing up a wee bit, but in lockdown times with Cel in London Town, we have to make a few allowances.

Podcast landing tomorrow on the usual places.... thank You Celest for this honest chat.

So grateful you made the time for us 🙏.

Wise words from this week’s featured expert in The Clubhouse 🏠💛. Ayda Koç is a master of the Healing Arts (also the name of her company @healing_arts_ ✨) but her highest priority as a shaman, therapist and healer is to teach us all to *self-heal*. What’s one way you can make your healing journey a priority this week? (Meditation, movement, nature, self-help books/podcasts, better food, more water, more sleep, less digital, more connection are all ways to do this ✨🦋)

Hello August. And hello new ⭐️BOOK OF THE MOMENT (Aug and Sept 2020): HEAL by @kellygores ⭐️
•
“The truth is, we have more control over our health and life than we have been led to believe, and that belief is at the core of our body’s capacity to heal.”
— HEAL
•
We’re back looking at the body, particularly the mind-body connection and how our thoughts, feelings and behaviours affect our mental and physical wellbeing and our potential to heal.
•
We think that self-help works best when we are looking at our #holistic selves - mind, body and soul - and Heal is a superb blend of science and spirituality that really highlights how our mental, physical and spiritual selves are so powerfully connected.
•
If you are - or have been told you are - chronically sick this book will be a great introduction to some of the healing modalities you might want to consider alongside more modern medicine. But you don’t need to be ill or in need of obvious physical healing to enjoy and benefit from this book.
•
Most of us suffer from stress, insomnia, anxiety or overwhelm at times (especially right now) all of which we can begin to address by looking at our thoughts, feelings and beliefs before we reach for the prescriptions. As director Kelly says: "This book is an exploration of what's possible when it comes to healing and will empower you with a new understanding of the miraculous nature of the human body and the extraordinary healer within us all."
•
Who’s in?! 📚🤓💛
•
💥 Join our Clubhouse membership and receive 8 weeks of materials and meetups to support insights from the book (as well as an exclusive interview with HEAL Director @kellygores 🦋)
💥 Also 8 weeks of introductory healing sessions including breathwork, meditations, EFT, sound baths, yoga, forest bathing and mindfulness
💥 Members Watch Parties (Netflix/Facebook) Mon 3rd/Tues 4th August 🇦🇺 🇺🇸 🇬🇧
💥 Meetups start Mon 10th August
