My chiropractor is really the goat. From my shoulder injury to my lower back pain she has helped me with pain management and mobility. If you are in the Cary/ Raleigh area give them a visit. #raleigh #carync #chiropractors #wellness #energyhealing

🙏🏾Thank you boss baddie @malachashi_ for having me speak and do health screenings at the 5th annual @baddieswithbusiness retreat and community bazaar! The theme of the event was Homecoming!🎉 Honoring where we’re from to prepare for where we’re going!

During the community bazaar we partnered with Bridges Pointe Inc and offered spine screenings. Bridges Pointe Inc. is a non-profit organization offering support for persons and families living with Sickle Cell disease.

During the retreat, my 60minute session was titled Wired and Tired: Fixing adrenal burnout😴😮‍💨

Participants learned the importance of the adrenal glands, the 3 ‘T’s to chronic stress leading to adrenal fatigue (burnout) and how to manage the physical affects of cortisol hormone aka the stress hormone. I had each participant complete an adrenal stress quiz and then they partnered up for an activity to demonstrate the negative effects of stress on the nervous system whether mentally, physically and chemically. I also discussed key nutrition components and how Chiropractic care can help!

It is sometimes easy to ignore your body’s subtle warning signs. ⚠️Your body will whisper at you before it starts screaming 😱
