10/17 UPDATE: Cammo is SAFE 🥹 thank you to everyone who shared his story! 💔‼️🚨 URGENT— DEADLINE ISSUED FOR TOMORROW, 10/16 @ 4:00 PM for CAMMO #A2816540 Cammo is an 8 year old boy who arrived at Miami-Dade Animal Services on 9/12. His kennel card says he’s a sweet senior who needs a bed at all times, & now, due to an even further decline, he’s been given until tmrw, 10/16 @ 4:00 PM. At this point, the shelter is advising that he needs hospice rescue ASAP. He’s having trouble going up & down the elevated kennels & really just needs a soft place to land, feel loved, & spend whatever time he has left knowing that there is kindness in this world. He will receive medication to help with the aches & pains. This is so heartbreaking to me, but even more so, for him. If you can’t foster Cammo then plz consider sharing his story. From happy tail wags, to peaceful naps, & walks with her foster siblings, Mamita is thriving & growing & healing. Her foster mom is helping heal her skin, is getting her some basic training, & is letting her decompress. ✨PAWVENTURE DATE W/RONY #A2713658 ft. @pawspective.daily & Rony’s bestie @carloscrespo5909 If you ask me, I think we get more out of taking Rony out than he does! 😂❤️ This boy is perfectly content with his red ball, a water hose or kiddie pool, and his best friend. Watching him enjoy the simple things is a reminder to me not to take life so seriously. Enjoy the little wins. ❤️ Rony is still strong, confident, and FULL of energy. He listens, walks great on a leash, takes redirection, and rides nicely in the car. He even allowed us to give him a much needed medicated bath. He needs someone who can give him daily exercise and enrichment. Once he’s burned off that energy, he’s happy to just lay next to you and relax. Rony is such a good boy. Meet Myra #A2796013 🩷 Another hidden gem at the Medley overflow shelter. Front & center in kennel WW01, Myra watches her shelter friends go on Pawventures, attend adoption events, go to foster homes… and get adopted. 💔 Her kennel card says “figure 8, bites leash” — which makes her sound SCARY. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. Myra is a big, strong girl who listens well, redirects easily, and just wants to be close to her people. She jumped into my backseat today… then quickly moved herself to the front seat because apparently personal space isn’t her thing. 😂 At the dog park, she came ALIVE — running, jumping and playing fetch. One would never know she has hip dysplasia & lives with constant discomfort. 🥹 She was calm and gentle when other dogs and people came around. She’s in playgroups and truly is a gentle giant.
