Welcome to **Save Roughfields**.

We're a local community campaign working to protect Roughfields for everyone who lives in Hadfield, Padfield, Tintwistle and across Glossopdale.

This page is about celebrating a place that means so much to so many people—and sharing why we believe it deserves protecting for future generations.

Follow us to discover its wildlife, history, community projects and our vision for the future.

Because once green space is lost, it can never truly be replaced.

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

Bringing colour to the streets of Manchester 🌈

Brewers Stockport have proudly supported Richard Preston from @heart_murals in his mission to bring colour to the streets of Manchester! 🎨✨

Using @albanypaintwallpaper as the base for his large-scale murals, Richard’s latest masterpiece at @hideoutyouthzone is inspired by the the rich history of Belle Vue and Gorton, as well as the local wildlife and natural landscapes.

🗣 Mike Ablott, Store Manager at Brewers Stockport says, "The impact on the local communities is always positive, the murals really lift your spirits when you see the finished project and is a great way to engage with the community. It’s a real pleasure to get involved and be able to support!"
