✝️ Mission Trip Recap: Morganton 2026 ✝️

This summer, our Life Teen crew headed to Morganton, North Carolina with Catholic Heart Workcamp to live out our theme: “Blessed.” Inspired by Acts 20:35, “It is more blessed to give than to receive,” our teens spent the week serving local families through home improvement projects, giving their time, energy, and talents to others.

But the mission didn’t stop when the workday ended. Back at camp, we came together for skits, praise and worship, reconciliation, adoration, and opportunities to encounter Christ in prayer and community.
And, of course, there was plenty of fun along the way, including an unforgettable day of whitewater rafting! 🌊

A week of serving, praying, laughing, and growing together. We may have gone to Morganton to give, but we came home having received so much more.

What a WILD, wild summer!

I’ve been back in Nashville for a week and I’m still recovering 😂

I’ll know I’ve totally recovered when my Wal Mart pickup order is placed lol…

I had the joy of playing for 5 different camps and retreats in a row.

I broke my guitar and got it fixed.

Got given a new guitar.

Trained hard for my half @ironmantri coming up this weekend….(cue Imperial March)

And found that this past weekend’s mass readings summed up exactly what this summer felt like.

That although the wind, fire, and rain were beautifully staggering to witness, God chose not to speak through those things.

He chose instead to whisper. And I listened.
