A little December recap to go along with my end of year reflection.😁💕✨
As I get older, I learn more and more what it looks like to balance gratitude with unmet expectations. Here’s what that looked like in 2025 in a nutshell:
🪩 Though I don’t feel like I’m where I would like to be in my work/career, I’m grateful that I went out for new opportunities this year (including an audition I’ve wanted to do for a LONG time!) and get to work with the sweetest kiddos at the dance studio. I also get to do meaningful work at the counseling center — a job that I never thought I would be in but that has taught me so much!
🪩 Though I would love to fall in love and get married one day, I am so grateful for my incredible family that is so very present and caring. I also have some pretty spectacular friends who make my life colorful and entertaining!
🪩 Though I haven’t yet reached my financial goals, I am so thankful that I’m much closer to them now than I was a year ago without bending over backwards to get there.
🪩 Though I still don’t feel as confident in myself as I would like to, I’m grateful that I went out and tried the things that scared me, like the audition, applying for the new job, and trying out for a fashion show!
🪩 Though my daily rhythms with the Lord don’t look like what they used to, I am so, SO grateful that He hasn’t forgotten me and His love for me never changes. I am comforted to know that there is grace for the journey, and it’s never too late to start again.
May we never forget that we have power, agency, and choices to co-create a beautiful and meaningful life with the God who created us.❤️ It’s never too late to begin again. Thank you, 2025, and hello 2026!🎉🎊🥳👏

Congratulations Heather on all of your accomplishments so far…the future is looking brighter than EVER for you!!! 👩🏼‍🎓🎉✨
I took Heather’s High School Senior photos 10 years ago so it was super fun to catch up & hear all about this amazing young lady has been up to!!!
For starters, she’s been a paramedic firefighter for the past 9 years & will be highlighted in the 2026 firefighter calendar. Which is no surprise since she modeled professionally for 5 years previous to that. She received her two degrees in associates of applied science (fire science & paramedicine). Her next chapter will be joining the air national guard to study aerospace medical. I was blown away by her determination, perseverance, sheer Intelligence as well as her natural ability in front of the camera. Love how these turned out Heather & loved working with you again!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
