I'm a 🐥 in Ojai. @rise.ojai

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Reposting because I had the wrong date on the first one 🤦‍♀️ Sunday is October 4th!

I’ve been thinking a lot about the recent reports of sexual violence at Cornell, and rather than continuing to process it through a screen, I wanted to create a space for women to come together in person..to talk, listen, process, and be in community with one another.

Sunday, October 4th at 5:30 at Rise. We’ll end the evening with a grounding ceremony. Wine and snacks will be provided. 🤍

15 spots available. DM to RSVP.

There is no expectation to share anything personal. You are just as welcome to come and listen.

To protect everyone’s privacy, there will be no recording or photography during the circle. What is shared in the circle stays in the circle.

Bringing back French combs because some things never should’ve left. Effortless, romantic, a little undone. The prettiest way to sweep your hair up.

Consider this my official campaign to make French combs a thing again.

I think a huge thing missing from color analysis conversations is structural contrast.

People focus on undertone and pigment contrast, but not enough on how facial architecture affects the visual weight someone can carry.

This is something I became much more aware of during my South Korean color analysis training. Two people can have almost identical coloring on paper, yet suit completely different depths because of their bone structure alone.

Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy is such a perfect example of this. Her facial architecture and visual weight expanded the range of colors she could wear far beyond what her pigment contrast alone would predict.

Talking about our least favorite thing to talk about! Thank you @belinda_lee_mills for the flight analogy 🩷

Tag your service provider friends who need to hear this! Because sometimes we need to remind ourselves too. ✨
