Back in Albuquerque after a few year hiatus—WFWA writing retreat will be packed with classes, #writing and #yoga. 711 seems like an auspicious room number, flowers to make my room a bit more homey and a schedule and lanyard to make me look very professional! 🤪. #wfwa #fiction #dksilverauthor #reader #writer #author #imagination #bestseller #reviewbooks #love #namaste

Me and my shadow enjoying the sun, the surf, the sand and the unseasonably warm breeze—I believe it was in the 80’s today. In Carmel. Today was a very big day. Today I opened a package I’ve been waiting for since September. Today I am another step closer to completing my dream as a writer. THE WEIGHT OF FLOWERS is the first book in a 4 book series and this painting by #ThomasDarnell is the cover of book 1. The subsequent 3 books will also be dressed in his magnificent paintings. I have been working on this series for years, definitely a labor of love and growth. 2022 is going to be a BIG year. #writer #author #fiction #upmarket #literary #familysaga #lust #insanity #worldtravel #historical #wfwa #applelaptop #france #thomasdarnell #peonies #yoga #yogi #writersofinstagram #readersofinstagram #peacock #spiritanimal #namaste

Okay, granted I’m a day late😬, but today was all about trying new things. I decided to drive to SB to see my youngest in action at her job at the Museum of Contemporary Art—her grandma Peanut, who was a docent for years at the Museum of Latin American Art was I’m sure smiling in heaven watching Jacq, cruise the exhibit hall. I am a proud mamma. Anyway, new things; dining alone, seeking out live music to listen to. There are so many pleasures to experience, so many people creating art; food, drinks, music, fine art, hell people were dancing with bikes on the street. There’s so much to jump into and be part. I’m learning to push my boundaries, to get out of my comfort zone and grow, to venture out as I’ve not done before. This is My Life and I need to own it. THAT is a new experience in itself. #newchallenge #icandothis #woman #mother #livemusic #art #creativepeople #souljourney #liveyourbestlife #nightlife #santabarbara ##breathetogetheryoga #aworldofwellbeing #jenniferprughyoga #dksyoga #scoobysnacks #dancinginthestreet #moonchild #yogi #yoga #amwriting #namaste
