Forever dopamine dressing with what makes my heart sing feat some of my ink and charcoal and pastel artworks hiding in a box in the corner.
The past few years through major illness and injuries has been a major dive inwards (and when I say past few years I mean a journey over 12 years but more seriously FORCED the past three years) but it’s actually made me realise how many aspects of myself were being suppressed- the creative colour loving , loving life loving self longing to be expressed.

Perhaps it’s all for the benefit of the soul even all the things that seem like the worst thing in the world at this time, even all the ongoing pain and struggles have forced me further inwards , to see how out of alignment I had fallen from living with my values, how trapped in an ego mask and ego societal bullsht (although I was unmasking and rebelling against perfectionism and sharing as much of the real me as I could since 2020ish) , how much I was living in survival, and to change more than I ever would have.

So each day as I continue healing physically, I look for joy and gratitude in every tiny way I can , for glimmers that heal and reignite the soul and search for my purpose for living

EDIT- I think I am too harsh on myself - I have always been loving , cared for other humans , I loved and love helping people, I loved and was truly passionate about athletics and physio- but i lost myself in serving others and was caught in nervous system hyper vigilance feeling responsible not only for patients injury rehab but their entire health and wellbeing and lost parts of myself in the trying to be taken seriously and all of my@hours obsessively researching with no time for many parts of me.

I did and do love mastery of any tasks the challenge of overcoming oneself, learning experiencing. I love and miss sprinting so much but just the freedom of it the joy not the need to prove myself or what I can do to others was not good for me . I do deeply grieve and miss aspects of my life . But I am grateful for the learnings , and for the parts of me rediscovered through the suffering, and the tools and community I have found to live a more conscious life

$Post 6 weeks of basically stuck lying still with a left hip fracture (femoral neck stress fracture) and still haven’t finished rehabbing the right knee either but back to that ASAP!$
