Some losses hurt a little more than others. This one will stay with me for a long time. ❤️

Playing at KGA, my home course, was always going to be special. It’s where I’ve spent countless hours practising, learning, dreaming and falling more in love with this game. Having my family, coaches and friends watching made it even more special.

But golf has a way of teaching you its biggest lessons when you least expect them.

Day 1 — +6. I was +1 through 15 holes, feeling good about my game, but a double and a triple over the closing stretch changed everything.

Day 2 — +3. I finished in second place, three shots behind the leader going into the final round. I knew I had some catching up to do, but I was still very much in the game.

Day 3 — +1. Some of the best golf I played all week. Starting three shots behind, I fought my way back and after 12 holes, I was in the lead! But two bogeys in the final three holes meant I finished just one shot short of the win.

One shot.

It’s hard to describe how much that hurt. To come so close on my home course and not finish the way I wanted was heartbreaking. Probably one of the hardest losses I’ve experienced.

I’ve replayed those shots in my head, thought about what I could have done differently, and realised just how much every decision, every hole and every shot matters.

54 holes of golf, and it all came down to one shot. Sometimes, the shots you wish you could take back teach you the most.

As much as I wanted to win, I’m walking away with lessons that I know will make me a better golfer. More awareness, more patience and a deeper understanding of what it takes to finish strong.

Despite the heartbreak, this was one of my most special weeks of golf. Having the people who believe in me and work so hard alongside me there to share it made it unforgettable.

I wish the ending had been different. But I wouldn’t trade the experience or everything it taught me.

This one hurt. This one taught me. And this one will stay with me. ❤️

On to the next, with a little more experience and a lot more to learn. ⛳

The decision to start in Mysore was an obvious one, given that I’m from here. But the decision to continue building in Mysore is a conscious one,made with a lot of heart, appreciation, and passion for my city.
