‘Tis the season when ghosts of the Southwest come out to play.

Westerns and ghost stories are such a natural fit it’s surprising there aren’t more of them in cinema. The camera rolls on mine next spring; hit the link in my bio to learn more about it and help me bring it to life.

“Up until now I’ve been a documentarian and commercial director . . . In February I asked Heaven if she would like to make a movie, not a short film, not a proof of concept trailer but a whole ass feature film.

Then myself Josh Johnny and Heaven hit the road then later myself Heaven Sam and Spencer, a crew and cast of only 4 people for 90% of the film.

Getting some recognition at the festivals brings me such joy knowing that I didn’t put these people through hell and back for absolutely no reason . . . Now we get to put some leaves on our poster and get ready to do it again (hopefully this next time with a little more support)”

We’re so excited for this picture to hit screens and share this story with you all.

Every road trip has a moment where things get a little strange and you just have to lean into it.

My biggest joy in life might just be bringing people I love together and making a little magic for them. 🥂🤍

Nati and I have known each other since high school, which means we’ve gotten to know and love so many different versions of us through all phases of life.

So naturally, when I got the opportunity to host her engagement party in my backyard, I jumped at it. Getting to be beside her and Richelle for such a beautiful moment was already special but getting to help create and curate one of the happiest moments of their lives made it even more meaningful to me. It makes my heart so happy seeing the love Nati and Richelle share and seeing their families being able to celebrate that together along with the community they’ve built. 🥹💕

A very special thank you to Rachel, who somehow always helps bring our crazy little visions to life and is holding a paint brush or tape down to the last second making sure everything is perfect. ✨
