It seems like the more things change, the more they stay the same. And with time going by so fast, it’s been somewhat weird for me to reflect on how much things have changed for me personally within the past year, cause it just went by like 🫰🏿that. So for my birthday maybe I’ll just talk about my experiences at Topgolf this past year and a half. Of course being on campus for the first time and living on my own again has been a positive change in my life this year. But working at #TGDC with all of my fellow playmakers has changed me in ways that I didn’t expect. I had to work harder than I ever had to in a normal job, or anything else for that matter. Everybody pushed me to be better, to work harder, and to get out of my comfort zone. @cberrrios in particular, helped me with this, through the reality checks and the hard man-to-man conversations. I was able to find people like @breesarah_ and @chefawemazing who encouraged me when I got too stresssed or if I needed advice on things. And of course, my #TGDC fam is really talented. I see their passion and talent in music - shoutout to @samonejay_ @saucefamquan, among others - and that’s something I should’ve recognized more rather than being judgmental. A learning lesson for myself. This year was also a time when I put greater focus on my body and well-being, and I thank @its__davidk, @naii_013 and @cberrrios for inspiring me to be more confident in my own skin. Of course I found my tribe sharing deep interests with @itztymetodul and @thelegacy1202. I met someone like me who Inspires me to live my authentic self with @jaylagaskins00s. And of course, @nvdernee inspired me with her presence to get out of my own head and live life to the fullest. So many others who treated me like family - @rea_time_86 @renegade703 @asnkris10 , @luchi_lfvo… I haven’t put much of my time toward faith in my adult years, but now I understand that God puts people and events in our lives for a reason. And I think my experience at Topgolf is one of those things. Personally, I still have a lot to learn and I could be making better decisions in a variety of ways…but my experience at #TGDC will motivate me to be better. Love you guys. 🤎🖤

On today 36 years ago my life totally changed because that was the day my first son was born!! Sad reality is on the day he was born I was @ sea serving in the United States Navy, back then there was no internet or email or cell phones,I literally had to wait for the mail to come in to see my baby boy. I didn’t see him until he was 3 months old and I remember holding him for the very first time and honestly I fell in love for the very first time , I promised him I will always be there for him and I never not been!! So I want to wish my baby boy a very Happy Birthday!!! Young!!!!
