Yesterday’s performance at Music Garden was so good that even the rain couldn’t send people home.

And when Spider-Man is standing in the audience watching too, you know something special is happening. 🕷️🎺

A big thank you to @heavyweightsbb for filling a rainy summer evening with energy, rhythm, and the unforgettable sound of brass.

Huge thanks to the @ontarioartscouncil for their support via the Chalmer’s Professional Development program, supporting my studies in New Orleans over the coming days.
Barely a day into my trip and I’ve already had so many fantastic opportunities to sit down and chat and play alongside phenomenal artists who live and breathe the musical culture I have the distinct pleasure to champion in Ontario and across Canada.
This is certainly a, but not THE grant acknowledgement post, but I wanted to share my overwhelming gratitude to the Ontario Art Council just for what little I have experienced and learned so far on my pilgrimage. This trip has been make possibly wholly through their support, and I am excited to learn more and bring that knowledge and experience back to Ontario.
