Human Studio at @villa__52 ✨ Two days. Both transformative — in completely different ways.

Day one was the individual session. A room where some people knew each other, some didn’t — and discovery everywhere. Things I was conflicted by, things that felt unknown when I first started working with Amanda over ten years ago — crystal clear. I sat there looking at my values and how I spend my time, and they were fully aligned. The work works.

Day two was my team from @yardbirdyakitori and @alwaysjoy148. Year three of doing this together. We know each other well, we share common goals — and that changes everything about how you go deep. The core values we chose three years ago are still the building blocks, and the framework we walked away with — showing up with 100% responsibility at the top of it — is the clearest roadmap we’ve had for what comes next.

@amandacasgar, you never disappoint. And @jessichloe — thank you for being the best partner to work with. Work with people you love, love the work, in places that inspire you. Two days in Sai Kung I didn’t want to end. Full recap coming — already counting down to the next one.

If you haven’t stepped into Always Joy 永樂 on Wing Lok Street yet, you are missing out on Hong Kong’s coolest neighborhood hangout.

Brought to you by the visionaries behind Yardbird, this seasonal Japanese diner perfectly nails the sweet spot between casual retro nostalgia and high-energy izakaya vibes.

Think deep burgundy walls, chrome accents, and vibrant mustard-yellow booths. Designed by @willoperron @perronstudios , the cinematic, low-lit interior feels upscale yet effortless.

The Next-Level Eats The kitchen ditches rigid concepts to cook whatever is fresh at the local markets.

Here is what you need to order to build the ultimate spread:

Boudeuse Oysters with Kumquat Kosho:
Briny Normandy oysters elevated with a bright, citrusy kick of kumquat.

Kisu Whiting:
Delicate, light, and beautifully executed fish.

Wagyu Beef Monaka Miyazaki:
Luxurious, rich Miyazaki wagyu beef tucked into a crisp monaka shell.

Manila Clams Washington State:
Fresh, plump, and deeply savory clams.

Hotaru Ika Warayaki Iron Pot Rice:
Smoky, straw-seared firefly squid layered over perfectly cooked claypot rice.

Hokkaido Milk and Red Bean Ice Cream:
Homemade soft-serve paired with crunchy soba granola for the ultimate texture contrast.

(Wagyu Beef Monaka Miyazaki):

Clocked out after 6 years - the longest job I’ve ever had. Thanks for the ride, the chaos, and everything I’ve learned along the way.

Congratulations to @labrasseriehk on their recent opening! We’re happy to welcome this new Parisian brasserie in the heart of Hong Kong.

Bringing restaurant concepts to life through guest touchpoints is our speciality - and a great meal must be supported with a great first impression in hand.
