Trings annual apple parade was absolutely incredible! It truly gets bigger and more spectacular each year. Curated by @tringsowngreenman and featuring so many unique, interesting and local elements; I will do my best to list them all!
We all gathered at first at the King's Arms before following the Town Cryer through the high street of Tring.
There was a local school scarecrow competition, many Morris sides (us, @phoenixmorrisdancers, @towersey_horseshoes_morris, @hemlock_morris and Aldbury Morris Men) @wyrd_wycombe had their 'baby' Wycombe Wyrm and the 'Trickster Hare' in tow. The 'Green Man Banned' were playing alongside their friends bedecked in glorious green. There was an apple cart and a carriage, real horses and a mischievous one (Aldbury's beast Dobbin)
22 stalls at the @tringfarmersmarket2026 were waiting at the end and was full of delicious eats and distinctive treats.
But wait! The celebrations aren't over yet! You can find out the rest of the events happening for the rest of the month here @sustainabletring (who were also marching as @fairtradeuk teabags!) https://www.sustainabletring.org.uk/apple-fayre?fbclid=IwdGRzaAU6nKFjbGNrBTqcmmV4dG4DYWVtAjExAHBkb2YFc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQMMzUwNjg1NTMxNzI4AAEe3uXnqxkZNEbxHZ_gSeknhr5AfqLtM8xURfxSqe9TZJELqRNzc98DiLLP8l4_aem_35ru3cIat6qxpNhl5xwW3Q

TRIGGER WARNING , Reference to suicide.
Over the years, thankfully discussions on poor mental health has opened up.
Sadly for some there is still not enough.
Suicide is one of the biggest causes of death for men in their 50s. Some charities have seen a sharp increase in younger people in recent years.
If you need help please reach out

We're proud to be hosting @hectorshere Hector's Gentle-Man's Club at EMBR.

HGMC brings men together once a month to try new activities, meet new people, and have a safe space to be themselves — organised by Hector's House, a Berkhamsted charity doing vital work in suicide prevention and mental health support.

Every session is about the same simple things: trying something new, meeting new people, learning something new, talking and sharing, and creating positive memories along the way. No pressure, no judgement — just a genuinely good space to show up as you are.

Open to any man 18+. Free of charge - there is one space free:
