San Francisco, you filled our hearts.

There was something incredibly special about bringing the Under the Sisterhood DocuArt™ Experience to The Women’s Building.

Everything about being there was intentional.

A building created to give women space, voice, community, and power. And within it, the Audre Lorde Room, named for a woman whose own experience with breast cancer became part of her writing, activism, and insistence that women speak their truths.

It was there that we screened our Under the Sisterhood film, a film about reclaiming women’s voices, and officially launched @underthehoodofbreasthealth , our new platform bringing together the lived experiences and perspectives of people, clinicians, and experts across the breast health and breast cancer journey, with a particular focus on those diagnosed under 50.

The place. The room. The film.
The platform. It all connected.

But what I keep thinking about most is what happened between all of those moments.

The connections.

Women came from across the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., New York and beyond. Survivors found one another. Clinicians listened to patients. Advocates shared what they are fighting to change. Women who had never met exchanged stories that somehow felt familiar.

Our beautiful panel with Teyonna Bowman @pausitiveoutlook , our Head of Advocacy & Engagement and host of Under the Hood of Breast Health, and @britmull , founder of @blackgirlcancerclubpodcast , opened up an honest conversation about navigating breast cancer at a younger age, advocating for yourself, finding community, and using what you have lived through to make the path better for someone coming behind you.

And when the program was supposed to end, people stayed.

They kept talking. Listening. Sharing. Connecting.

Finding one another.
We almost couldn’t close the room.
Maybe that is what I will remember most.

A very special thank you to our @underthesisterhood advisors @dixielincolnnichols and @skisamira for your continued support and sisterhood.

To every person who walked into the room with an open heart, thank you. And to every person who has trusted Under the Sisterhood thank you. 🩷

DAYS 3 + 4: SAN FRANCISCO DID NOT DISAPPOINT. ❤️

The final 48 hours were less about where we went and more about who I got to experience it with.

After 72 hours in San Francisco with my bestie Heather, I was reminded what having a true soul sister really means.

We visited pieces of each other’s past, talked honestly about our present, and dreamed BIG about our future. And somewhere along the way, we both got to see just how much we’ve grown.

Heather, you consistently elevate the game.

I’m so proud to call you my friend, advisor, mentor, soul sister and ally.

What you have done for me throughout this journey can’t be put into words. You have opened doors, shared your community, challenged me, believed in the mission, and most importantly, shared your heart with me.

This weekend reminded me that sometimes the most important part of building the future is recognizing who is standing beside you while you do it.

Thank you for one of the BEST weekends ever, Bestie.

We visited our past. Celebrated our present. And got very excited about our future.

San Francisco, you were exactly what I needed. ❤️

SAN FRANCISCO DAY TWO: 20 YEARS LATER, FULL CIRCLE ❤️

I spent eight years of my life in this city, and coming back 20 years later, it’s incredible how so much and so little has changed.

I walked back to 388 Market, my old office where so much of my career began. Different chapter, much bigger mission, same drive to build something that matters.

Then I reconnected with Matt Kirmayer to talk about having him and his firm represent our company during one of the most significant chapters of my life.

Matt knew me back then. He knows who I am, how I work and what matters to me. In a world where who represents you matters, having someone who understands the business AND the human behind it means everything. He is one of the best, and I’m honored to have him beside us. I hope to make him proud.

Then off with my bestie Heather, meeting her brilliant friends John and Dennise, and finally getting to meet and HUG the incredible Jill Mullikin-Bates in real life!

We ended the night with music, laughter and another adventure with Heather’s amazing San Francisco framily before heading home to rest up for Under the Sisterhood.

This roadshow is about building, funding and fighting for a mission.

But I’m remembering something equally important:

You have to LIVE while you’re building the future.

Eight years here helped shape who I became. Twenty years later, San Francisco is reminding me who I still am.

So much has changed. So little has changed. And there is so much more to come. ❤️

@underthesisterhood @underthehoodofbreasthealth Thank you for YOU!
This weekend, I attended Under the Sisterhood in San Francisco, and as a patient, founder and advocate, I walked away inspired, educated and even more determined.

THE SISTERHOOD HAS THE DATA.

One of my biggest takeaways was how many women are being diagnosed in their 20s, 30s and 40s. A diagnosis that young can mean navigating healthcare and survivorship for another 40, 50 or 60 years.

Diagnosis Day is only Day One.

We have to build healthcare for everything that comes next.

A special thank you to Teyanna Bowman and Brittany Mullens for sharing your stories, strength and journeys. You were an education and a powerful reminder of how much more we must do to improve access to information, education and equitable care, especially in how Black women are diagnosed, heard and treated.

Patient stories aren’t just stories.

They are DATA.

They can expose disparities, reveal patterns, drive research, inform legislation and change how we diagnose and care for the next woman.

That is what I am bringing back to SickTitties.org, Noble Care and CAREN AI.

Thank you Elizabeth Elfenbein and the entire Under the Sisterhood team for showing what is possible when community, education, advocacy and lived experience come together.

The Sisterhood has the stories.
The Sisterhood has the data.
Now let’s use it to change healthcare.

There is nothing SickTitties.org can’t do Under the Sisterhood. Thank you for creating a platform for women to tell their stories so lived experience can become science. A special thank you to @eelfenbein because you could’ve chosen to do so many things and this is where you’ve put your time intention in Capital and I am so honored to call you my friend and my sister! Thank you for you

We gathered yesterday at @thewomensbuilding, a building that has been holding space for intersectional feminism since 1971.

And for a few hours, it held space for us.

This is the last shot of the day, and it says everything. Community. Connection. Collaboration. Women uniting, allies showing up.

I actually had to call everyone together for this photo, because nobody was leaving.

That’s the moment I knew yesterday was something else. We screened our @underthesisterhood DocuArt film about reclaiming voices and why documenting women’s lived experiences has to be a matter of record.

And we launched @underthehoodofbreasthealth , right on the doorstep of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Grateful beyond words to @pausitiveoutlook Teyonna Bowman, head of advocacy and engagement and host of Under the Hood of Breast Health, and Britney Mullins founder of @blackgirlcancerclubpodcast , for joining us in conversation yesterday. And to our incredible Advisor @dixielincolnnichols who traveled far to support her sisters.

More from yesterday, coming soon.

My ladies. Have had my back through divorces, deaths in the family, career changes, doubts and triumphs. My confidantes and champions. Always supportive, cheering me on, believing in me. The exquisite shorthand we share. We lift each other up, always. Where would I be without these women in my life. So grateful. #sisters #womenfriends #divinefeminine

One of the greatest gifts I brought home from Seattle wasn’t an award. It was a community.

Walking into Women in Cloud, I met women who I know won’t just become colleagues. They’ll become lifelong friends, collaborators, advisors, champions, and the kind of people who remind you that changing the world is never a solo mission.

Every conversation left me feeling more inspired. Every introduction reminded me that when women open doors for one another instead of competing for the same seat at the table, we don’t just build companies. We build economies, communities, and opportunities that ripple across generations.

As I looked around the room, I couldn’t stop thinking about one statistic: 99% of venture capital goes to less than 1% of women. The math doesn’t reflect the talent. It doesn’t reflect the innovation. And it certainly doesn’t reflect the leaders I met this week.

Any one of these women would be an incredible investment. Collectively, they represent one of the greatest untapped opportunities in business today.

I left Seattle with more than inspiration. I left with renewed confidence that the future is being built by women who are bold enough to lift other women as they climb. That kind of leadership is contagious, and it’s exactly what I needed as Noble Care enters its next chapter.

We’re not just building companies for ourselves. We’re building a future where our daughters inherit a world with more access, more opportunity, more capital, and more seats at every table.

Thank you, Women in Cloud, for creating a place where women are truly celebrated, empowered, and connected. The impact of this community extends far beyond one conference.

And to every incredible woman I had the privilege of meeting… thank you for you. 💜 Please stay in touch, tag yourselves, and let’s keep building the future together.
