Just can’t get over how amazing this weekend in Madison was. I’m so proud of my guy! Loved sharing every second with our best friends and family, and especially our two little boys. I think Wolfie is starting to “get” that his Dad is pretty cool 😜 he’s been calling him “Sam Dekker” since we’ve gotten back 🤣

And just like that… we are so thrilled about Sam starting his coaching chapter! I’ve said forever he’d be an amazing coach. He’s the son of an amazing coach. He’s had some amazing coaches. His highs and lows throughout an 11 year pro career will serve him well as he mentors young men embarking on the same journey. And I know he’s so excited to return to the college landscape that he loves and knows so well.
As this chapter starts, it’s also emotional to say goodbye to the old one. I’ve been by his side for all but his rookie year in Houston, and it’s been a crazy ride. Had to walk down memory lane a bit, and just say Sammy, thanks for the memories. You’ve brought so many people so much joy. I hope you had as much fun playing as we had cheering you on. (This is just NBA pics…. I think the European version is harder for me to say goodbye to haha)
