2026 High School State🏆🥇

To say that I am very proud of my team is an understatement. After many fights and many comments from other people we have proved people wrong! We did it! 3-peat State Champions! Go Dawgs! 🐾

For me, I know that this isn’t what I wanted for myself. I still played hard, and competed to the best of my ability! I am proud of myself and can’t wait to keep going for one more banner!

We are officially under two weeks out! The Kimberly Booster Club and the KHS Athletic Department are hosting the 4th Annual Kimberly Athletics and Activities dinner auction on Thursday, April 9. Doors open at 5:30, Dinner is at 6:30 and Live Auction will start around 7. The money raised has helped fund weight room remodel, uniforms, equipment trailer, gym floor covering system, and a 4 wheeler.
We are still accepting donations for the dessert, silent and live auctions so please spread the word. This is to benefit ALL of our programs!

Have you ever had someone
enter your home or your life
where it seemed certain
that Heaven had sent them?
.
I know there have been people
who arrived as answers to
prayers, blessing my life
and my family in ways
beyond anything I would
have known to ask for
.
I imagine that is how
Amulek felt after having
an angel announce the
arrival of Alma
.
I love too how these
two men showed the spirit of
ministering so well blessing
one another in turn
throughout their time together
.
Particularly at the close
of their teachings
at a place when
usually the story would be over
.
This new piece is a glimpse
of that ministrering,
commissioned by my good friend
@heiderchad
who shares his experience
and inspiration for the piece
.

“About 20 years ago
I was serving as
elders quorum president
.
It was very early one morning
and I was troubled
with a problem one of my
quorum members was having
.
When I read several verses
in Alma that changed my view
on ministering and lifting
our fellow members
.
We read about Amulek’ service
and forsaking his riches
and worldly possessions to serve
.
In so doing was rejected
by those he no doubtedly
loved very dearly,
including his own father
.
There is no doubt in my mind
that Alma and Amulek became
the best of friends
.
Alma, seeing the weight of
this in his dear friend,
carried him into his own home
and ministered unto him
blessing him as he did
.
It’s a perfect example to me
to be aware of those
in my family, my ward,
and my community
.
To help, serve, lift and
minister where I can
.
I love Alma and Amulek
and Eva’s picture of
Alma lifting Amulek captures perfectly
how I imagined that support to be
.
I’m reminded of the tender
teachings of that morning
each time I look at it”
