Hi, I saw one of the hottest humans alive last night. I’m so glad I got to experience the most aesthetically pleasing performance ever with my favorite people.

WARNING: this is a super sappy, long post, but I felt it was necessary. Dear Sophmore year,
You have been the toughest year life has thrown at me. Luckily the hardships and challenges you have faced me with have given me a chance to grow. You have taught me a lot and have given me many memories to cherish for the rest of my life. You gave me the opportunity to be the lead in Anne of Green Gables, which taught me that I am more capable than I thought. Not only did I learn about myself but I also learned that I will have a lasting fear of boats because the boat decided to break right under me during the first show... that was embarrassing. You gave me a friendship that turned into a relationship sisters have, and I will cherish that relationship as long as the sun and moon shall endure. You taught me about what I deserve and how I should be treated by the people around me. You have taught me to appreciate who I am, allowing me to grow in the biggest way possible. You have tore me down just to make me bounce back more confident and appreciative than ever. You made me realize that you shouldn’t believe things until you see them, that’s when you know it’s true. You taught me to forgive but never forget. You taught me that sometimes it takes one person to come in your life and then leave it to help you realize who you are. You taught me that music is the cure for anything. There’s a song for every mood. You taught me that when life gets rough, you gotta put ear buds in, blast music, and smile. You have taught me the meaning of friendship. Even though things got tough, there are a few people who stuck by my side even when I felt alone. You taught me how to love, everyone and everything around me. Sophmore year, you have been a tough one, but I will never forget the lessons I learned and the memories I have made.
Sincerely,
Kyla Nicole, who’s officially an upperclassman
