Houston, thank you for such a warm welcome! ❤️

This was my first show in Houston, and I’m leaving with a full heart and so much gratitude. I loved meeting so many wonderful people, sharing my work, and making new connections. I already can’t wait to come back!

A special thank you to @heidilowellart @lucymacqueen_art @thegoldcurrent for being the most incredible group of artists to share this experience with. I couldn’t have asked for a better team! And to @affordableartfairtexas for all the hard work and heart that went into bringing the inaugural fair to life.

To my new collectors, thank you for connecting with my work and choosing to bring a piece of it into your homes. It truly means more to me than you know. And to all the artists, friends, and lovely people I met along the way, thank you for the conversations, encouragement, laughter, and inspiration.

It’s the people who make experiences like this so meaningful, and I’ll be carrying this one with me for a long time.

Until next time, Houston! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I finally found the energy to post after the whirlwind of the past few days at @affordableartfairtexas!

A huge thank you to all my new and longtime collectors who came out to support my work, to the incredible team of artists I’m lucky enough to call friends for keeping these days full of laughter and fun, to @ladycori and her amazing team, and to all the family and friends who stopped by with hugs, encouragement, and love.

Moments like this always make me pause and pinch myself a little… the childhood dream of becoming an artist somehow became my real life, and I’ll never stop being grateful for that. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Spent last evening wandering through the Affordable Art Fair in Austin and it ended up being one of those nights that just felt really inspiring. I loved seeing so many different kinds of art and hearing the stories and ideas behind the pieces. Some made me smile immediately and some completely caught me off guard in the best way.

A little personal highlight was seeing my friend Heidi exhibiting her work there. If you happen to go this weekend, stop by Canopy Collective II and say hi to her. And if you need a ticket code, feel free to DM me.

We ended the night with barbecue and good conversation, and honestly it was just such a lovely Austin evening 😍

Teacher Appreciation Week has me feeling extra grateful for the incredible humans that make Figment Creative Labs what it is.
What started as just me in a garage has grown into a thriving little hub of creativity with 18 amazing Creative Guides helping bring the magic to life every single day. These teachers are so much more than teachers. They are listeners, encouragers, problem-solvers, artists, comforters, cheerleaders, and safe places for children to land.
From wiped noses to giant hugs, from belly laughs to hard conversations, this team shows up for our kids with patience, creativity, and so much love. Every day they dream up invitations to create, meaningful learning experiences, and opportunities for children to explore the world through wonder and play.
I see the care they pour into every interaction and I could not be more thankful for this beautiful group of creative nurturers. Figment is what it is because of them.
And a HUGE thank you to all of the wonderful families who have spoiled our team this week with treats, snacks, gifts, and kind words. Your support and appreciation mean so much to all of us. 💛✨ #teacherappreciation #teachersfollowteachers #teachersforteachers #teacherlove

Have you seen this “pebble pushing” drawing activity making the rounds? ✍️
At Figment , we slowed it down and turned it into a mindful practice, where focus, movement, and imagination all come together. It’s simple, a little challenging, and surprisingly meditative.
An invitation to pause, create, and get lost in the process. 🎨
