Still taking in this beautiful moment. ✨🎬🇵🇭

So grateful to see KAPPA-TIRAN recognized at the 2026 Manila International Film Festival in Los Angeles with the Shining A Light Award, and to share this recognition with Marcos Mamay.

More than an award, this means so much because Kappa-tiran was created to tell a story with purpose—to shine a light on realities and voices that deserve to be seen and heard.

My heartfelt thanks to the Manila International Film Festival for giving Filipino cinema a global stage, and congratulations to all of this year’s honorees and awardees. It was an honor to stand among such talented Filipino artists and filmmakers. ❤️🇵🇭

Though I wasn’t able to mention them onstage, I dedicate this recognition to my manager Rams David and Artist Circle, and to my dearest longtime friend in Los Angeles, Oliver Carnay. Thank you for believing in me and for being part of this journey. 🙏🏼❤️

And a special thank you to the wonderful people who helped me look and feel my best for this memorable evening:

To everyone behind Kappa-tiran and everyone who believed in and supported our film—this recognition belongs to all of us.

May we continue shining a light through stories that matter. ✨🎬🇵🇭

A shining moment for Kappa-tiran. ✨🏆🇵🇭

Deeply grateful and honored to receive the Shining A Light Award together with Vice Mayor Marcos Mamay on behalf of our film, Kappa-tiran, at the 2026 Manila International Film Festival Awards in Los Angeles.

To see our names on that stage and to have our film recognized here in Hollywood was a moment I will always treasure. This honor belongs to our director Neal “Buboy” Tan, our fellow actors, our production team, and every person who worked behind the scenes to bring Kappa-tiran to life.

Thank you to MIFF 2026 for giving our film a platform and for shining a light on the story we came here to tell.

Though I wasn’t able to mention this on stage earlier, I would also like to dedicate this recognition to my manager of many years, Rams David, my Artist Circle family, and my dear longtime friend here in Los Angeles, Oliver Carnay. Thank you for your friendship, guidance, support, and for being part of this very special journey. ❤️🙏🏼

Special thanks as well to designer Mimi Barnett of Las Vegas, Nevada, for the beautiful gown I wore tonight, and to Nilo Cruz of NSC Beauty for my hair and makeup. Thank you for making me feel beautiful and red-carpet ready for this memorable evening. ✨

From the Philippines to Hollywood, this recognition is something our entire Kappa-tiran family can celebrate.

Mabuhay ang pelikulang Pilipino! 🇵🇭🎬✨

A night to remember! ❤️🎬✨

Our world premiere of KAPPA-TIRAN at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard was truly special. 🇵🇭🇺🇸 We were honored to be the final film featured among the 14 entries of the 2026 Manila International Film Festival.

So grateful to have shared this unforgettable evening with Vice Mayor Marcos Mamay, producer of Kappa-tiran, our director Neal “Buboy” Tan, Oliver Carnay, Inday Rose, my niece Heidi Rus, Yollette, Mimi, Jeremy, Nilo, Antoinette, and all our wonderful friends from LA who came to support us. 🙏🏼❤️ I would also like to thank Nilo S. Cruz for my hair and makeup, and Idoll of Idoll Jewelry for my beautiful outfit and jewelry tonight. 🙏🏼❤️✨

Thank you to Sir Winston of MIFF for hosting our film and to everyone who believed in Kappa-tiran and Filipino cinema. 🇵🇭🎬
