Meet Heidi Schaul-Yoder ✨

Heidi’s passion for healing was born out her own personal experiences navigating struggle and loss, and the profound transformation she found through somatic psychotherapy. A Juilliard-trained violinist turned Licensed Psychoanalyst and Certified Gestalt Therapist, she brings a rare depth to her work, weaving together mindfulness, trauma therapy, and the mind-body connection to help people reconnect with their innate capacity to heal.

To Heidi, the work of somatic therapy feels like a sacred unwinding of anything that has restricted or limited us, and a reclamation of our authenticity, agency and full aliveness. She takes a very relational approach, and sees the process as a collaboration with her clients and a space for our messy humanness to be welcomed and explored. Healing happens in relationship and community, which is also why being a part of BMC is so meaningful for her and her practice — the collective and the other members of the team provide a web of support that generates inspiration and anchoring for her work. 🌿

How many times today did you say yes when every part of you wanted to say no? 😬

🧠 Your nervous system learned early on what felt safe to express — and for many of us, that meant shrinking, people-pleasing, and putting ourselves last. It isn’t your fault. But it doesn’t have to stay this way.

✋ Claiming Your No: Embodied Boundaries & Personal Power is a on-demand workshop with BMC’s own Heidi Schaul-Yoder — Somatic Psychotherapist and guide for some of the most transformative inner work we’ve witnessed in our space.

Through gentle movement, visualizations, and somatic practices, you’ll learn to:

✦ Tune into your body’s natural “yes” and “no”
✦ Connect with the depth of your healthy power
✦ Release people-pleasing patterns — for good

Whether it’s your boss, your family, or your inner critic — you deserve to feel rooted, self-expressed, and free.

🎥 Available on-demand. Unlimited access for one month.
💛 On sale now: $35 (reg. $50)

Poor Lochlan! 😰 What a perfect example of how our “NO” gets either empowered or depleted by our body posture. I think we can all relate to the feeling of saying yes when we mean no, or saying no without confidence and having that be disrespected by the Saxons in our lives. ⁣

Many of us desire to feel more agency and autonomy in our lives, and yet continue to spiral in patterns of shrinking ourselves, people-pleasing, and self-sacrifice. It isn’t your fault if you find yourself here – our nervous system is always trying to protect us from what hasn’t felt safe to express or embody in our past. But imagine feeling fully empowered, self-expressed, and able to stand strongly rooted in all of your relationships…

Fortunately, there’s a solution that takes us out of overthinking and into our embodied strength and clear knowing.

With saying no?

Or even when you do set that boundary … you might feel guilty afterwards and overthink your decision?

If that sounds familiar, then you definitely won’t want to miss this!
