✯ golden memories ✯

october greetings dear friends! i am excited to finally share this special image from my archives. nasturtiums remind me of my mother who passed away 15 years ago this september. these bright orange flowers were not necessarily a favorite of hers or even grew where she lived, but they do surround the sacred space where i buried the remainder of her ashes in golden gate park the summer following her passing. whenever i’m in san francisco i visit the plot of earth off a small path that i carefully selected which i later learned used to be equestrian arena. what makes this so amazing is that my mum was a horse lover and even owned many horses during her lifetime!

this particular image was captured near her burial ground on a very memorable roadtrip in 2017 and was also a print featured in my solo exhibition in 2020. if you are still reading this, thanks for taking the time to listen to my little story! wishing you a wonderful month ahead enjoying the change of seasons wherever in the world you may be ❤︎ marcelle

Summer days ☀️😎
From a visit in Burfjord earlier this month. This place is my childhood summer vacation paradise. The 3rd picture is taken with my phone later that evening.

Put a shrimp on the barbie and enjoy the fireworks 🍤

So, I wonder if anyone missed me here on this platform 😅

I'm not going to explain my absence..most would not read it anyway!

Enjoy your life, folks 🦋

Normally that husband of mine is behind me on the trail and I’m running back and forth as a dog to the owner 😂 I must have spotted something that kept my attention for a while.

Have a fabulous weekend when it arrives 🍷🥳

Koh Boda, Krabi, Thailand

This was the last island I had the pleasure of using my camera. This collection is however taken with iPhone. On the next stop I ACCIDENTALLY baptized my camera and phone in the sea. My camera died after this.

We was at this location in 2018 too, but then it was blue sky. This time, as you can see, the clouds came in with rain 🌧️

It’s reel 😅 and I hiked up the steep stairs. Gosh it was hot when I came over the shadows from the trees 🌴 But the icy water in my bottle lasted up and down.

Here are a collection from the resort we stayed at nearby Krabi City. The 3rd picture shows the private pavilion we had that was connected to our “villa”. As you see it’s placed over water. The water contains fish (aquarium). I could watch them for a while, pure medicine 😅
