Unexpected doesn’t even begin to cut it.
Thank you so much to every single one of you that voted for our shop in the @mountainxpress best of 2026.
.
Since opening RMT 1 in 2022, Jess and I have always wanted to do one thing. Give everyone in Asheville the shop we always felt like they deserved to have. We wanted you all to feel seen, respected, and taken care of. After 3 1/2 years on in east Asheville, we can confidently say that moving to downtown 8 months ago was one of the best decisions we ever made. We love this city, we love this community, and we can’t wait to continue being part of it as long as you’ll have us.
.
Everyone at the shop brings something unique and special but more importantly than them all being great tattooers, they are all incredible people. Please follow and get tattooed by the amazing artists that make this shop so special! @amydooz @adamguyhays @goodtime_garrett @adunning.tattoo @heiditattoo
.
All that being said, I want to take a moment to recognize and congratulate @heiditattoo on also being voted one of the best tattooers in WNC! So grateful for everything you do for the shop and for being able to call you a friend. Congrats, Heidi! ✨

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKIP!!!!!! 🥳💖🎉 you are SO LOVED by SO MANY! You have changed so many lives for the better. You shine a light on your friends, your stylists, your clients, the WNC community, and the hair community as a whole. Your impact is so great it’d be impossible to measure. You are a constant source of support and inspiration to every person that comes across your path. I can’t even count how many raffles and giveaways you’ve done to raise money for folx medical bills, mutual aid, home recovery, pet surgeries, and not to mention raising over $82k after Helene for salons in WNC. Your heart is truly something special.
CHEERS TO YOU SKIP - the most genuine, kind, beautiful, funny, loving, talented (goes without saying) person we know 🥹🫶 this year will be the best yet 🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉

xo anna & your neon moon crew 🧡

‼️ DROP YOUR BIRTHDAY WISHES IN THE COMMENTS AND LET HER KNOW HOW MUCH YOU LOVE HER‼️
