We’d like to take a moment to thank these incredible women in needlepoint who served on our editorial board this year! Your support and guidance is what made our first 2 issues so fun and meaningful for the community. Can’t wait to see what we accomplish together next!

Celebrating one year since launching MadKat Needlepoint! 🎉 A huge thank you to our amazing customers, the store owners and our family and friends, your enthusiasm and support have meant the world to us! The needlepoint community is truly an incredible group of people and I am endlessly thankful for all of the new friendships made over the past year! Thank you for purchasing MadKat canvases, for sharing your beautiful finishes with us and for coming to say hello at events! You are helping make our dreams come true! THANK YOU!

Collaborating with my sister, artist Lindsey Noel, on MadKat has been the biggest gift! Her artistic talents are limitless and there is no one else I can imagine creating this with!

I named this company using the first three letters of each of my daughters’ names and I thank them for helping with photography, social media, events and along with my husband, listening to my endless chatter about needlepoint! Special shoutout to my husband for all the behind the scenes help filming & for all the years spent patiently waiting for me in needlepoint shops all across the country!❤️

Happy stitching and thank you for making this such a fantastic year for us at MadKat Needlepoint! ❤️🪡❤️

Finishing Friday! My daughters were born in Washington, home of the best apples. They are both on the east coast currently, so we always send WA apples to them. Stitched these gorgeous Silver Needle apple canvases to remind them of home.

A late Saturday night finish! The plan is to put this in an acrylic tray. I love to cook, and this canvas immediately reminded me of Ratatouille, the first movie my husband and I took our kid to, 19 summers ago when we saw it at the drive-in with our precious 2-month old. They love the movie now (& are crocheting a ratatouille kit, including Remy!)

My kiddo painted a thicker red border for me; my thread and stitch choices. I purchased the @froopydesignsllc canvas at @heirloomdesigns.studio on a trip to Seattle

Stitched memories make the best souvenirs!

Another amazing day in Seattle. I didn’t get a picture of @lifted.beauty.wellness where we had an amazing hand treatment and met the most wonderful people. Gillian, Sam and Kari knocked it out of the park today with a custom painted canvas for each attendee. Lunch on the roof and thread suggestions from @sequinlalastitches. How else could I end such a wonderful day? Going to @house_of_hitchcock to find the most amazing emerald ring and diamond ear cuff. The people here are incredibly talented and are surrounded with beauty and art. Can’t wait to spend more time here #needlepointretreat #needlepoint #custompaintedneedlepoint
