First AJMX!
Nerves were huge at the start of the week, which resulted in finding the floor A LOT.
Really happy to have qualified when his riding wasn’t where he wanted it to be.
Found a bit more of a familiar pace for the first 2 finals (still found the floor a few more times 😅). Then came the mudder which resulted in a DNF.
Learnt an unbelievable amount! Stoked with the experience and chance to make some friends from other states.
Keen to keep working!

We’ve been a bit quiet lately - the last few months we have had SO much on, everything going wrong and the struggle has been so real, both off and on the track 😅 Walt has been battling his own demons and so have I, but so bloody grateful for my family, my SIL, my friends and our Nanny’s and Poppy who have been there for us. Hervey Bay definitely got Walt back out of his head a little bit, and saw a bit of his aggression and confidence that we know he is capable of. Finished 11th overall of the day (out of 24) - and was sitting in 9th for all of Moto 3 which saw a tip over costing him some positions. He battled back though which was great to see 🥹 the last few months have been so shit 1 but hopefully we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for all of us! P7 overall the MX1 Championship and first privateer🤙🏻
Stoked to also receive the Andrew McFarlane top privateer award!!

Happy with my efforts throughout the whole season! Stoked to have my name in the mix of the factory riders constantly all season! We had some tough rounds but also had some really good races to show more of what I’m capable of!
Fracturing my L5 vertebrae the week before RD1 made the first few rounds tough, but we pushed on.

With 7 months off the bike not racing any motocross last season, I was unsure of where I would stand this year, but I’m happy to constantly put it in the top 10 and finish every moto for the season, which is something I can build off! And I do know I can still be better!

Running my program entirely on my own has been tough, buying bikes off marketplace, running second hand parts and being able to still mix it with the factory bikes is something I’m proud of. If you’ve seen behind the scenes you know how “privateer” the program was aha.
Let’s hope we can gain some more support from this to be able to line up again next season 🤞🏻
