Still wrapping my head around the fact that it’s the final day of 2023! What a year it has been!

Starting the year on the tropical island of Gili Air - a weekend trip from our Bali home. Experiencing the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur, before a heartfelt return to the Netherlands. And starting a new business before continuing our journey and calling Mexico home… only to realize that our hearts truly feel at home in Bali.

3 flights and more than 18.000 km later we stepped foot on our beloved island again! We travelled to Lombok and discovered new parts of Bali. We moved houses and got to be part of a traditional Balinese ceremony!

This year holds beautiful memories, but it’s safe to say it also came with challenges. 2023 has been a journey of self discovery and resilience. A journey of finding trust, strength and support.

This year went by in a blink of an eye! There’s so much to look back on and be grateful for. But the connections that were made, those were the real gems! ❤️

Tradescantia is een geslacht van ongeveer 70 soorten overbliivende planten in de familie van de eenzaadlobbigen.

I’m looking back on a fleeting first half of 2023. It’s amazing to see the power of dedication and belief.
What once seemed a distant dream dream has now become reality ✨

From starting the year on one of the Gili islands, feeling incredibly at home in Bali and travelling to Kuala Lumpur. From a long-awaited return to The Netherlands and launching a new business to now embarking on a new chapter in Mexico. This journey is nothing short of memorable.

Bye beautiful 2022!

By far, my most memorable year yet! 💫

A year of turning my biggest daydream into reality by moving to Bali. A year of personal transformation and achieving big goals. Of making countless decisions not knowing what the outcome would be. I’d put more trust in myself and others than ever before. I missed family and friends (and our cats) and I felt scared and unsure about where I was going many times. But all of this made me grow in ways I never knew were possible. And I couldn’t be happier about it!

I’m grateful for all the challenges, the lessons, the highs and the lows. For the new experiences, the friendships and for my loved ones. 🤍
