Sector Stories #2 happened in a secret bathhouse!
For a very special Pride edition of Sector Stories, we commissioned polaroid photographer @andrewtess to explore intimacy in the Pines.

We all know the fun, high-octane moments FIP has to offer. We're familiar with the rich history. But what are the moments that remind us why we love this place so much? Running through the waves with your dog. The daily Pantry coffee runs. The spontaneous poolside conversations.

This all culminated in an evening conversation with @justintmoran @capitalbvt with select works on display - one night only.

a few moments from last friday’s showcase and installation of my Fire Island Pines photo project.

incredibly grateful to @sector.world for commissioning the work and supporting it through their artist grant. the project documents the unexpected ways gay intimacy takes shape in Fire Island Pines.

thank you @capitalbvt, @justin_sanantonio, and the selection committee at Sector for your support throughout the project, and @justintmoran for leading such a thoughtful conversation during our panel.

thank you to Mauri Waneka and @itsjust_esther at @getschwet for helping us create such a meaningful evening.

and thank you to the incredible @vnina for capturing these beautiful moments.

lastly, thank you to the nearly 200 of you who kicked off Pride Weekend with your phones locked away, fully present, and willing to spend the evening celebrating the project.
