Transmission 008: Helhur

Sorry, where are we? Um, can you shut the fuck up, my favourite show is on.

Helhur graces us with her presence - Skullpanda and ribboned USB in tow. It’s rare you get to hear a set like this: equal parts sass and enough bass to make you wonder if your face will ever return to normal.

Stay a while, who knows what sort of treats you’ll find.

CHEAHDX | Boorloo born, Naarm based, Ngunnawal virgin… let’s make his first time special ✨
Likes: Balancing tasteful with bombastic, Lana Del Rey edits, Ironic T-Shirts
Dislikes: Generator difficulties

Ellephussy | She’s back in town, bringin boppy, wubby tracks along with a sprinkle of trance from her new home down south. Catch her before Naarm catches on claims her as their own.
Likes: Yo yo’s ‘pon the floor
Dislikes: D&Ms on the floor

Helhur b2b Mia Sørlie | A dynamic duo debuting at last years Whimsy (Delirious: unofficial song of ‘25). Slapping you with Electro and fresh fits… what Paris Hilton wishes she was
Likes: speedy breaks, thumping bass, the power of friendship
Dislikes: Chin strokers asserting themselves with niche sub-genre references

Groove Gratitude & Gouda (GGG) | your local favs with dance moves as syncopated as their beats are matched. Prog, breaks, whatever gets the engine started
Likes: Sharing, stage presence, selection
Dislikes: lack of rhythm, entitlement, and cheddar

Three households, both alike in dignity, In fair Canberra, where we lay our scene, From ancient grudge break to new mutiny, Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
From forth the fatal loins of these three foes A triplet of star-cross’d DJs take the stage;
Whose misadventured piteous overthrows
Do with their performance bury their parents’ strife.
The fearful passage of their beats-mark’d love, And the continuance of their parents’ rage, Which, but their children’s end, nought could remove,
Is now the two hours’ traffic of our stage;
The which if you with patient ears attend, What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.

Silly maxxing Latina diva with glitter nails who’s never been told no? Ughh perfect….

Ninety minutes of the ‘Try Not to Twerk Challenge’ No but seriously… dirty, scary, fast and fun. There will be a provision of complete chaos and class… Leos be like

I’d actually die for evil-electro-breakbeat (EEB) and come see what my heart is made of because I can’t wait to dance and giggle all nighttt… Okay bye.
