🤍 Support Pristine here: https://greenlit.com/project/pristine Pristine is a psychological drama steeped in magical realism about control, love and regret - and the fight to reclaim a life that no longer feels like your own. Set against London’s queer clubbing scene, the short film is at its heart a story about the first act of choosing yourself. We’re making this film because leaving an abusive relationship is rarely simple or linear. Sometimes, change begins long before you physically leave - with a moment of recognition, a memory, or a glimpse of a different future. We’ve raised £11,000 of our £18,000 target, and we’re working towards shooting in February 2027. We’re so close to getting Pristine in front of the camera, but we need your help to get there. 🎬 Watch EJ’s video, donate if you can, and share our fundraiser. Every contribution brings us one step closer to making this film a reality. Link to support Pristine here: https://greenlit.com/project/pristine Thank you for helping us tell this story. ✨ Meet this year’s Lili Jury! ✨ Each year, we present the Lili Award to outstanding films in three categories: Best Feature, Best Documentary, and Best Short Film. Named after Danish transgender artist Lili Elbe, a pioneering figure in the history of gender-affirming care, the award celebrates films that challenge existing norms around gender and sexuality. Our lovely Lili juries have the important task of selecting this year’s award winners from the films nominated by MIX CPH’s programmers.💖 Swipe to see this year’s jury members!

Early last year, a folder was passed across my desk, an unbelievable story about a powerhouse woman who defied every label that was bestowed upon her. I instantly felt a connection to this role, the similarities were inescapable, and the opportunity to actually represent a fellow sister with authenticity felt incredibly rare and special. Dear Katya, or ‘Mama Kaka’ as she would have preferred, J’adore you princess, We are bound together forever. Thank you to the team and my incredible producer @helios_blanc, whose work goes beyond all expectations. Your continuous support from yourself and @transonscreen, the safeguarding for me, and our community, is an invaluable asset to society. I will be forever grateful you were by my side. Thank you to Katya’s friends and family, Many of whom I have not met, but to those I did, I hold you close. On your screen in September x

#Belgian model and activist @maximmagnus portrays the unforgettable Katia Saunders (RIP) in the upcoming drama series Il-Ħajjata C&R, premiering this #September on Tokis . Filming "Kaka" at her favourite haunt, City Of London Bar Malta, felt surreal as Maxim slipped into one of Katia's original dresses, generously loaned by @mgrm_malta and Marie Therese Galea Bason . Il-Ħajjata C&R is supported by Arts Council Malta, @transonscreen, KM Malta Airlines and AX The Palace Malta .
