The future of race management is here. ⛵🚀

The 2026 Maritime Bluenose Championship marked a major milestone as Atlantic Canada successfully deployed Vakaros race tracking integrated with MarkSetBot automated mark laying for the first time.

The result? More accurate courses, real-time race data, faster course adjustments, and an enhanced experience for sailors, race officials, and spectators alike.

A huge thank you to the volunteers, race management team, measurement committee, and technical partners who made this breakthrough possible. Innovation like this raises the standard for sailing events across Canada, and we’re excited to build on this success @chesteryachtclubns

Here’s to smarter race management and even better racing ahead! 🌊

Nova Scotia’s team “Orion” have wrapped the 2026 Newport to Bermuda Ocean Race. Scoring a respectful second place in their class of seven J-120’s & seven J-122’s. Expect her return to @theyachtsquadron and renaming to “Jane”. Crewed by the same team that won the 2025 Marblehead Ocean race in 2025. What comes next ?
