- ““Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬-‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

letting Go Isn’t A One Time Thing. It’s Something You Do Everyday, Over And Over Again. _______________________________________________

- “So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed. That, however, is not the way of life you learned when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭17‬-‭24‬ ‭NIV‬‬

you cannot run away from a weakness, you must sometimes fight it out or perish. And if that be so, why not now and where you stand? - Robert Louis Stevenson

- “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.”

How would I describe the last few months in just 3 words? Probably Concerts, Creativity, and honestly Cats.

when something is important to you, you grab on with both hands and you don’t even think about letting go. Letting go is not even an option.

Grind City Meet 2025 Recap–the best weekend of the year, every year!🩷

The weekend 10 years ago I met some of my very best friends. The weekend we get to explore Memphis together. The weekend I get to see some of my favorite people ever all in one place to do what we love most–take dope pics!🥹

I can never fully express what @grindcitymeet means to me, but maybe this little video will help you feel some of what I felt this year, and do every year. Love. Gratitude. Friendship. Known. Seen. Heard. Curious. Open. Creative. Nostalgic. Me.✨

Cheers to the next 10 years of Grind City Meet with the best group of friends & creatives Memphis has to date!💛

faith doesn’t mean you’ve arrived; it means you’re ready to trust. - @iansimkins

- ““In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says, “My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.” Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”
