How do you know your calling is from God?

Pressure is a good test. When Nehemiah’s enemies tried to pull him away from rebuilding Jerusalem’s wall, he answered, “I am doing a great work and I cannot come down” (Nehemiah 6:3, ESV). He held firm because he had heard from God directly.

Uncommon ‘26 has come to a close and it’s hard to put into words how grateful I really am to get to be a part of what God is doing at @oneightydotcom — He is changing lives, raising up a generation of resilient worshippers, and calling up the next generation of Kingdom Laborers! These students are hungry, joyful, and undeniably passionate. Blessed to have a front row seat to see how God continues to work in the lives of these students after this conference.

I’m beyond thankful for everyone around me who made celebrating my sweet boy so special. It was truly a dream come true — more perfect than I could have ever imagined. My heart is so full and so is the nursery with plenty of clothes and all the necessities, thank you🫶🏻

Joy.

That’s the word I’d use to describe you this past year and heading into another one, JOY. You’ve chosen it day in and day out, even while putting up with all of chief’s and my shenanigans. The way you love us and everyone around you is such a gift, a constant reminder of the love Christ has for us. I’m a better man because of you, and I’m forever grateful for the joy you bring into our lives.
