Fantasy Forest was such a fun time! I thoroughly enjoyed my break from crunch (even if I did some in the evenings) I got so much joy from spending time with so many friends and running around and having a right giggle. Brining my little larp lad has definitely helped soothe some of the sadness at missing this weekends event, hope that all who are attending have a good event!

I will probably be somewhat sporadic in my social presence as I Lock in for the last bits of ECG prep!

I realized I never posted these gorgeous photos of my Dame Aylin Cosplay from the Saturday MCM masquerade!! These pictures make me look so cool eek!! (Shoutout to the amazing photographers 🥰) This was my first masquerade and boy oh boy do I have the itch to do it again! Thank you at the amazing MCM staff that organized the masquerade and everyone who participated. My heart was so full! Now I can only count the days until MCM Birmingham in August…

I try to show the behind the scenes where I can, but as I say in the last slide, noone wants to see you breaking down and crying from pain and frustration mid-con, or being sick from muscle spasms the day after a photoshoot, that side of being a disabled cosplayer isnt instagrammable, so you never see it. I love cosplaying with all my heart and doing competitions and photoshoots are genuinely my favourite things to do, but when youre chronically ill those things come with a price, so think about that before you talk about us behind our backs because of what you see on social media. We're all fake on here.

Throw Back Time!! I can't believe Fantasy Forest is less than a week away, what the heck! I had the best time last year and loved coming up with my 5th Fantasy Forest OC Maislin Muggs. It's one of my favourite things getting to put together these outfits and then working out who the character is throughout the festival!

This year the rest of my Rowan and Barley/Black-Current crew @lendoodloo and @teacup.tiefling are making their return to @fanforfest so get ready for the best squad pics in the land fr.

Now all I've got to do is finish con crunching 2/3rds of my outfits by next Thursday.....

It's AC Black Flag Resynced Release Day!! 🏴‍☠️

and I AM SO EXCITED! It's rare I anticipate games before they release, but you guys know how much of a pirate girlie I am, so this one has been sooo long awaited!

I never got the chance to play the AC games as they were coming out, and have been wanting to for years, so I could not be happier about the timing of this remaster! Thrilled I finally get to experience all the wonders of plundering, sailing, and bucaneering, in beautiful new shiny quality!

The visual upgrades to the game look sooo amazing, which as an environment artist, you know I'll have an strong feelings about haha
I've heard many good things about the original so I really have very high hopes ✨

For the last 9 months I have been prepping this shoot and many exciting things to follow all in the name of @rascals.cosplay and I’m so grateful to say I had the most amazing weekend ever!

My wonderful Mighty Nein, you all looked so good and you have put so much effort into your cosplays, thank you so much for trusting me and believing in this!

The Tog Team you were phenomenal! From the lit studio and sets built in our Airbnb, night shoots in the wind, shenanigans and some insane video shots, I cannot wait to see what you are cooking.

Highly recommend getting a bunch of your mates together and starting a cosplay group, we will be doing this again, until then enjoy our bts

Being disabled in this community is a blessing and a curse, and this July I want to keep sharing my experiences as a disabled cosplayer and refuse to shut up about my experiences. Knowing how others live is vital for empathy and community, and I love this community. I refuse to let a few bad actors taint my opinion and experiences with cosplay. I will keep believing in the good in people and reach out my hands to everyone I can to help make this place a little kinder, a little softer, and a little safer, in my own way 💕
