Remember the viral Malaysian fan who stunned English electronic music duo HONNE with his incredible vocals at their 10 Anniversary Tour Concert recently in REXKL on both nights? He’s none other than Helloluqman, a (legit) Malaysian singer-songwriter and producer whose passion for music knows no bounds! Everyone wanted to know if it was a scripted part of HONNE’s act - and we have the TEA right here! 🍵

Give @hellolqmn a follow, you’ll quickly find he’s more than just a sweet guy chilling in the right place at the right time 😍

Somebody Get These Beggars Out Of Here MALAYSIA EDITION
P.S. We do not actually condemn or want to "get beggars out of here". Please support the local charities & food banks around you whenever, wherever you can.

The humor behind the "Somebody get these beggars out of here!" quote stems from Robert Pattinson’s intensely dramatic delivery, making the word "beggars" sound like an aggressive, high-class ancient slur. The irony of it is that Antinous (Robert Pattinson's character) is screaming at an old, disguised man who is actually the literal King of Ithaca (Odysseus, played by Matt Damon) the owner of the house he is illegally squatting in.

With the Odyssey set to release in China today, we created this, The Offissey, Book 3. It's safe to say we've squeezed enough out of Nolan's latest epic to make these silly short videos, and we hope we entertained ya'll. Do keep an eye out to what we have installed for the coming days! It will be all the more crazy, all the more human, & all the more MALAYSIAN.

I’m not a very concert person but I was willing to go alone just to watch Honne. Bought the tickets in March, thought I’d be mentally prepared to go by August.

Nope.

I started getting anxious about going alone and even tried to sell my ticket the week before. Thankfully no one bought it because it was such an amazing experience to come out of my shell and loudly enjoy my interests the little joys in life.

In hindsight, doing it scared anyway would perfectly describe this. Doing what you love alone anyway would be a pretty great fit too. ❤️

What's Your Go To Mamak Order?
We went around asking Malaysians what they order at the mamak all the time because we want to know if mamaks even need those big binder menus full of dishes and recommendations if all we order are THE SAME THINGS EVERY TIME.

Side note: We heard Maggi Goreng too many times, we needed to cut some of the interviews out just so we can give other dishes some respect 😝

Do you know the longest road name in Malaysia is located in Teluk Intan, Perak, called Jalan SKOMK? (Jalan SKOMKHPKJCDPWB)

Its full, official name is:
Jalan Syarikat Orang-orang Melayu Kerajaan Hilir Perak Bekerja Sama-sama Kerana Jimat Cermat Simpanan Dan Pinjaman Wang Dengan Tanggungan Berhad

We asked some of our colleagues to read Jalan SKOMK's full name and we got some interesting reactions! 😂

Let us know if you know any interesting Malaysian road names to share!

It took me a while to process everything that’s been going on recently and I finally had some time to sit down with myself to watch snippets of the kickstart of your tour. Let the healing begin.

To those of you who are able to attend. Count your blessings.
