I also want to discuss it with my energy healer, @iamblackbird444, to make sure I’m interpreting and explaining it correctly. Once you’ve charged your bottles, you can either return them to the fridge if they need to stay chilled or place them somewhere safe and sacred, like a meditation altar. On Halloween night, we drink together. Across cities, countries, and time zones, women around the world will raise their glasses, united in one powerful intention. Prepare your bottle. I’m trying to keep up on your photos, but I’m also about to go into some meditation so I may be doing some sharing tomorrow. Tonight starts the ritual. ✨🌕 (See pinned post) Thousands of women around the world are joining @unruledwoman in a communal feminine invocation, charging our champagne or sealed beverage of choice under the Hunter’s Moon on October 25, then opening our bottles together on Halloween night. Many of us are saving champagne for a specific event in the United States, but any beverage will do. Bring whatever intention you most need. SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25: THE MOON RITUAL Hold your sealed bottle under the moon and speak your intentions aloud, one to three times. Place it where it can receive moonlight, outside or in a window. Clouds don’t matter. I also light candles and charge crystals. OUR COLLECTIVE INVOCATION You can speak your own intentions or join us in this shared invocation. I recommend writing it by hand. “We call upon the divine feminine within ourselves and throughout the universe to awaken, rise, and restore balance. May truth overcome deception, compassion overcome cruelty, and those who seek to control others lose their power to do so. May we stand in our sovereignty, awaken our wisdom, and welcome abundance, freedom, and healing into our lives. Together, we call forth a new timeline rooted in love, justice, and the highest good of all. As we will it, so may it be.” HALLOWEEN NIGHT: THE COMMUNAL TOAST Open your bottle, speak your intentions, raise your glass to the universe, and drink in the collective power of women participating around the world. We don’t need to toast at the exact same moment. OPTIONAL RELEASE RITUAL Write down something you’re ready to release. Safely burn the paper on Sunday, let the ashes cool, and save them. On Halloween, bury the ashes in the earth and pour a little of your charged beverage over them. Release what no longer serves you and make room for what comes next. You don’t have to be a practicing witch to participate. Every woman has the power to connect with the universe. It’s our birthright. We just have to claim it. NEXT THURSDAY! 💥 Poetry and house show 🗣️ 🎵 Nathan Brown 7pm, Oldspeak The bard is in. Join us next Thursday as a dear friend and former poet laureate of Oklahoma entertains us with words and wisdom. Nathan Brown is an author, songwriter, and award-winning poet who doesn’t live anywhere in particular. He holds a PhD in English and Journalism from the University of Oklahoma. He served as Poet Laureate for the State of Oklahoma in 2013/14 and travels fulltime performing readings, concerts, workshops and speaking on creativity, poetry, and songwriting. Nathan’s published 30 books. Most recent is his new memoir, The Risen Spring: The Birth of a Vagabond – Book 4. Karma Crisis: New and Selected Poems, was a finalist for the Paterson Poetry Prize and the Oklahoma Book Award. His earlier book, Two Tables Over, won the Oklahoma Book Award. His latest album of all original songs, The Streets of San Miguel, features Paul Simon’s accordionist, Joel Guzman and international fiddle champion, Warren Hood. He’s taught songwriting, memoir, poetry, and performance workshops from Tuscany and Ireland to the Sisters Folk Festival in Oregon, the Taos Poetry Festival, the Woody Guthrie Festival, Laity Lodge, the Everwood Farmstead Foundation in Wisconsin, as well as for Blue Rock Artist Ranch near Austin, Texas. And his online live video series The Fire Pit Sessions—inspired by the Pandemic Poems Project—has had over 100,000 views. At almost 370 episodes now, Nathan reads a few poems from the project and performs a song at the end. Many followers of the series have referred to it as being one of the ways they’ve “made it through.”
