This week has been one of heavy hearts, tragedies and reflection. This week in particular has made me reflect on how short life can be and it has brought up feelings about losing my dad at the age of 13. Growing up we’d celebrate every birthday, brought people together for community events, and I have so many good memories of celebrating life. These are the memories that I will always cherish and hold onto during the hard weeks and days. I know that if my dad were here he’d be celebrating my accomplishments with me. The photos in this post are from one of the accomplishments I am so proud of and honored to have been a part of. Our team helped the @hellosunshine team plan and design their Nashville events for Hello Sunshine and @thehomeedit . We created multiple events over the span of several days with the help of many many amazing local vendors. It’s in times like this week where I sit and reflect and look for the good in my life and the world. My bright spot was looking back at these photos and being reminded of all the accomplishments we’ve achieved that my dad would be so proud of. So if you’re feeling heavy this week, you’re not alone. I hope you can find the good in your life and in the world, and if not then BE the good in the world, spend time with loved ones, bring your community together, and be the change that you want to see. Life is too short so make sure to celebrate the special moments 🤍
