7pm MDT tonight we introduce, STATIC. The STATIC Down Hunting Jacket and Pant is purpose-built to deliver warmth when movement stops. Designed for long glassing sessions and cold, exposed conditions, it keeps you warm, focused, and in position when the wait matters most.

17 miles and 3000' vertical over 36 hours, and he's back at the truck. This was one of the most difficult elk seasons I can remember, but it all came together on the last afternoon of our 8 day hunt.

THE PROBLEM: When the cold wins, the hunt ends. Proper gear for long sits to withstand the cold is where you win.

STATIC PUFFY SYSTEM 🏔️ THE SITUATION: When the climb ends, the cold begins. In the late season a lot of hunting is done from a sedentary position. Glassing. Waiting. Time in the tipi. But in a world of puffy systems built for cross fitting across the mountain we have taken the last several years to build a puffy system for guys like us. Based on real genuine in the field staff experiences. We’ve listened to what our customers communicated to us and we have come up with an alternative solution. October 15th we introduce the STATIC SYSTEM.

Sometimes the difference between getting an opportunity and blowing a stalk isn't what you're doing...

It's when you're doing it.

There's a time to slow down.

Watch.

Think.

Work out where that animal is actually heading.

Then there are moments where you've got to stop stuffing around and move.

The hard part is knowing which situation you're in.

I’d love to know the stats on how many public land hunters call other public land hunters in each year with their bugles

Calling elk on public land comes with one problem...

You're not the only predator listening.

Jeff's approach is a good reminder that more calling doesn't always mean more elk.

Alaska back country. Nine days. No guide, no resupply, no cell service. Just Jeff/Jody, a boat, and whatever we packed right.

There are plenty of things you expect to encounter when you're walking through the bush.

Coming face-to-face with a bear at five feet probably isn't one of them.

Who’s shitting themselves in this situation?
