Small business shout out.
This socially conscious coffee shop serves up delicious food & coffee, but also donates a portion of its profit to HRC ministries, to aid in the fight against human trafficking. CJ's story is a powerful one.
If you're in the area, consider hosting your next meeting or grabbing your favorite drink from her shop.

We had an AWESOME time at VBS Summer Blast at ONE* North! Here are some of the amazing numbers from this year: We had 75 Kids and 75 Volunteers, 29 Kids accepted Jesus as their lord and savior, 444 items were collected and donated to HRC Ministries, and GREEN TRIBE WON!!! All of that being said, we could not have done any of this without our amazing volunteers who made this VBS a Blast for everyone!

If you missed out on this VBS, don't worry we have another one at our Valley Location on July 26th - 27th and you can register at onespokane.com/summerblast

Camp is over 😭 BUT we are inspired by the youths as we had fun serving our community together. Our world can be in chaos, but we’re going to be alright.

It's been a hot minute since I've actually posted to IG. Like, an true post instead of the stories section which I'm typically in most days. .
I've been taking an intentional step back from social media the past two months. Honestly it started out not so intentional and at first I felt guilty, like I should be showing up on here more. But as I thought about it I realized I was enjoying my break from it all, and so I shed the guilt and embraced being present and in the moment. .
Sometimes we need a life "refresh", a break from the "extra stuff" because even though it doesn't always feel like it, social media really is extra.
.
So that's what I did. I played with my kids, did things at home I didn't share online, and realized that not sharing didn't make what I did hold any less value just because fewer people knew about it. .
And the break has been good, really good! My ideas are flowing and once my sis and her fam move out I'm ready to hit the ground running. Biz will get back to normal and I'll share more again. But it will be more intentional sharing. I vow not to let social media rule my day or make me feel like what I do doesn't matter because someone else on IG's life seems so much cooler than mine.
.
I built this life. I pray over it daily. And I'm in love with ever part of it. Even the mess. Let's embrace "us" just how we are and clean out the thoughts that our lives hold any less value than anyone elses. And its value has absolutely NOTHING to do with how many likes we get or what we share online.
I've photographed a few things from the past few weeks I'll be sharing with you all to "catch up" on my activities. This was the @hrc_ministries Run 4 Freedom. It was 2 weeks ago, and it was windy and cold, but still fun! Finished the 5k in just under 30 minutes. Next run is @bloomsdayrun this Sunday!
