This winter has been so rough. Having a bipolar mom, with anxiety is no easy life for two active little minions. But once in a while I am able to scrape myself up off the couch, put on some pants, and leave my anxiety in the dust. When those days come I try to make the most of it ... so yesterday we found ourselves at @smithsonianzoo The National Zoo in #DC ... literally the FIRST time I have EVER , taken my kids out and about , "far from home", 100% alone, with no help... AND was pleasantly surprised to find WE SURVIVED. Not only did we survive, we actually enjoyed each other and there were no tears or loud voices. I know to some this is a weekly or daily event, but for me this was a milestone event. For these precious punks it was a glimpse of hope that their mom is trying to be better, do better, teach them better and do more. For them, for my husband who does everything for us and for myself. I want to get healthy in mind body and spirit. I want to enjoy my kids. I want to enjoy my family. I want to enjoy my life. Yesterday was a really good day and I'm proud of myself for once. Depression and anxiety is a bitch, but I'm fighting back. 💕 #momlife #familyfun #zoo #carousel #merrygoround #inspired #momdate #sonanddaughter #kiddos #mybabies #teampearce4 #ccflbaltimore #charmcityfamilylife #positivity #goodvibes #livelaughlove #desiretoinspire #gottaknowtogrow #myownguru 🐯🐼

Trying to make time for the little things, that bring my heart #joy ❤️ What a great morning, couldn't feel my fingers , but I love hanging out with my #littleguy. It's always an adventure & he is so easy to please... yesterday he was mesmerized with the #ice ❄️ so we checked out on of my favorite *hidden* spots, local #steelbridge off the beaten path ... and he loved it!! So many questions. So full of wonder. So many observations. 🤗 warms my heart on these cold days. :::: 💙 ☃️ #boymom #winterwonderland #momlife #outdoors #adventure #joebro #parentinggoals #localyokel #inspired #photography #mom #son #river #stream #water #wild #goodvibes #bridge #shadows #snow #brrr #desiretoinspire #gottaknowtogrow ✌🏽🦌
